From Yahoo News:
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) - If SYLVESTER STALLONE
wants to sue two former house helpers who claim they were fired
for petty reasons, he'll have to do it somewhere else.
A Superior Court judge ruled that they actor's
slander suit can't be heard in California. His attorney Marty Singer said STALLONE will
either appeal or refile the suit in Florida.
That's where the two temporary workers, along with
three others, are suing STALLONE and his wife, JENNIFER FLAVIN.
The workers say they were fired from STALLONE'S
Miami mansion in 1995 for violating household rules that included
backing silently out of rooms as soon as STALLONE entered, not
making eye contact with him and not speaking to his mother.
STALLONE and FLAVIN countersued, accusing Maria
Vivanco and Cristian Sandoval of slander and invasion of privacy. |
