On August 14, 2012, TMZ posted a video clip from Good Morning America of Sly speaking about the tough time of dealing with Sage’s passing.

On July 31, 2012, People posted “Sage and Sly Stallone’s Rocky Relationship: The Inside Story” by Howard Breuer. The piiece doesn’t provide bring anything new to the table and surely isn’t the “inside story.” – Craig

On July 16, 2012, TMZ posted a cropped version of this 1991 Bruce Webber photo of Sly and Sage with the following:
Sylvester Stallone tells TMZ he is devastated by the death of his son Sage Stallone and wants “the speculation and questionable reporting” to stop. Stallone — who gave us this picture of him with Sage taken in 1991 by famed photog Bruce Weber — says, “When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.”
Sly goes on to say, “This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives,” adding, “Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”

On Saturday, July 21, 2012, Sage Stallone was laid to rest. Sly and Sage’s mom, Sasha Czack, led friends and family who came together at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church for the private ceremony in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Sasha Czack requested that, in lieu of flowers, mourners make a donation to Autism Speaks.
