Jack Carter & John Wick by Andy Bennett!

Last week I shared Andy Bennett’s riff on a Jack Carter and Lono from 100 Bullets.  I liked Andy’s work on it so much, I’ve ordered a Jack Carter & John Wick piece for pick-up at HeroesCon this year.  Although Heroes is still a couple weeks away, Andy shared with me the piece that will be waiting for pick-up.  Yowzers! (And don’t you just love the nod to Tango & Cash?)

A New (Old) “Cobra” Watercolor by Thomas Boatwright!

This is the first Cobra piece I ever received from Thomas Boatwright .  He did it for me several years ago, but somehow I missed scanning and getting it posted.

Over the years I’ve gotten several Stallone pieces from Thomas.  Click on the link to see what has been posted so far… there are more to come.

If you’d like to see more of Thomas Boatwright’s art check out his blog and his DA site. Send him some love.

If you get commissions, you should consider a piece from Thomas. He keeps you totally in the loop on his progress, finishes his commissions on or ahead of schedule, has very reasonable prices, is a fantastic artist and always gives you more than you’re expecting!   – Craig

Matt Childers’ Rambo

Matt Childers is “comic book artist, illustrator, designer, sometimes writer and most of all a storyteller.”  I first became aware of Matt through a story that he drew called Dick Ruby and the Case of the Little Green Men (written by Brett Harris).  That led me to other of Matt’s comics and commissions.  I was hopeful that Matt would be up for a Stallone sketch.  As you can see, he was.

I liked it so much, I immediately requested a Childers’ Jack Carter.  You’ll see that here next weekend.

If you’re a sketch collector, Matt gets my highest recommendation.

Rocky by Chris Visions

Chris Visions created this beauty for me last year for pick-up at HeroesCon.  I’d been a Chris Visions fan for some time and the opportunity to get a commission from him was one I’d couldn’t pass up.

Check out Chris’ site when you have some time to spare.  You’ll be amazed at his talent!

Oh, and if you’d like to get a print of my Rocky commission, you can.  Chris is offering giclée prints on 11×14 inch 100% cotton paper using Lucia inks for the highest quality. Free shipping in the US.  100% of the proceeds will go to help Chris during his recovery after his eye surgery.

Rocky was my first Chris Visions commission.  I hope it won’t be my last.
