I met James Mason a few years ago at an OrlandoCon. I knew right away I’d want to get a piece from him for my Stallone art collection. James worked up this take on Sly as Jack Carter. Recently James held a contest on his site and I was one of the lucky winners. My prize — James colored the piece you see posted today.

On July 16, 2010, Peace FM Online posted a piece about Sly and his long-time dream to make a movie about Edgar Allen Poe. Here’s a taste:
“I do have a script that’s gone through 20 mutations. Every few years I take it out and rework it and update it. What fascinates me about Poe is that he was such an iconoclast.
It’s a story for every young man or woman who sees themselves as a bit outside the box, or has been ostracized during their life as an oddball or too eccentric. It didn’t work for him either.”
