Hi Craig,
As you know, my favourite hobby is to meet celebs. On the 28th of March, I’ve had the opportunity to meet Jürgen Prochnow who was Judge Griffin in Sly’s movie “Judge Dredd”. Jürgen was friendly enough to sign an autograph dedicated to you and all our friends from the SZone. I hope SZoners will appreciate it
All my best
Alexandre
SZoner, Ernest Resendes is back with a new piece. He even hints that he may be working up a “Death Wish” piece. Let’s hope! Thanks to Jazzman for sharing! – Craig
So what did Sly think of “Son of Rambow,” the story of two youngsters who after seeing “First Blood” decide to take a video camera and remake it?
Sly told the Los Angeles Times that when he first heard about
“Son of Rambow” he “assumed it was going to be a very broad and stylized joke-a-minute comedy at Rambo’s expense.” After seeing the film Sly said “The fact that it was so heartwarming is the result of brilliant film-making by its creators.” High praise indeed! SZoner, Ernest Resendes has been spending so much time working on independent movies [doing everything from creating sets, to writing, acting, and music] that he hasn’t had as much time to draw. Jazz did find the time to add some color to a piece he did a few years ago and we love the results. Thanks to Jazzman for sharing! – Craig
