Moreno Imagines “Tango & Cash 2”
Recently SZoner, Gerardo Moreno contacted us about Tango and Cash going to Blu-Ray. At the time there were rumors floating about that Sly and Kurt Russell were interested in doing a sequel. Although those are just rumors, Gerardo decided to put his talents to work and came up with his version of how the sequel movie poster could look.
Well done, Gerardo! To see more of his art, click here.
Edinho Maga’s Cobra
SZoner, Edinho Maga is back with some photos of a Cobra statue he is working on. This is something that he’s doing for himself.
For those new to the StalloneZone, Edinho Maga is quite a success story. Back in March of 2008, Edinho sent me some photos of a Rambo sculpt that he did. I posted a write-up about Edinho’s art.
Edinho’s talent was obvious and it wasn’t long before Hollywood Collectibles worked out a deal for the sculpture to be produced by their company! Since then Edinho and Hollywood Collectibles have teamed on other Rambo and Rocky projects. And to think that it all started because of a post on the StalloneZone!
Thanks to Edinho Maga for once again sharing his talents. Also thanks to Mark and the cool folks at Hollywood Collectibles for providing discounts for SZoners buying the Rocky statue [details here] and the Rambo statue [details here].
Rambo on Lava [Final Version]
SZoner, Stefano Rondinella is an artist and Sylvester Stallone fan from Sicily. We’ve featured Stefano’s art before and he’s back again with his final version Sly as Rambo painted on stone lava of Etna! You can see the “in-progress” photo here. Thanks to Stefano for sharing his talents with us.
SZoner Fan Art!
SZoner, Renato Mundt from Sao Paulo City, sent in the scan above of his take on Rocky vs Drago. I thought it was perfectly timed since both Rocky and Drago were just named two of The 20 Most Memorable Sports Movie Characters.
Hollywood Collectibles Rocky Statue
Hey SZoners! Mark from Hollywood Collectibles is going to hook us up again. Hollywood Collectibles is currently taking pre-orders on a limited edition [just 500 pieces worldwide] 12″ Rocky statue. Here’s how they describe it…
Rocky needs no introduction. A movie and cultural icon, the “Italian Stallion” created by Sylvester Stallone has become a part of popular culture. This highly detailed 12” statue portrays Rocky in a classic fight pose, as he is about to throw another huge punch at his opponent.
This incredible piece of art is constructed from heavyweight polystone and then hand painted to the finest detail. Approximately 12” tall.
Strictly Limited to 500 Pieces Worldwide
Sculpted by Edinho Maga.
Painted by Dan “Danno” Cope.
Once again, Mark and the fine folks at Hollywood Collectibles have created a password for StalloneZone fans. Simply enter “Rocky” at check out and you will receive a 10% discount! Another feature that Hollywood Collectibles has started is the ability to spread the cost of owning an item out over four equal payments.
You’d be surprised at the number of SZoners who contact me asking about how they can get one of the sold out: Rambo statues, Rambo busts, Rambo color busts, Rambo bobbleheads, Rambo Xtreme DForm statues, Rocky color busts, and Rambo Xtreme DForm statues. Folks, when they are gone, they are gone. And they do sell out. So if you want one, I wouldn’t wait too long!
