SZ Exclusive: An Experience with Sylvester Stallone in London!

On July 6, 2018, Sly spent the evening hosting An Experience with Sylvester Stallone in London.  SZoner, SlyStalloneFan (that’s him in the photo below) attended and sent in these photos and report!
Dear Craig,
I just finished attending the Stallone event in London and I thought I share my experience with you and all Stallone fans worldwide. I arrived at the premiere location where we were allowed to enter and get checked in.

Our seats were pre assigned from the time you purchased you’re ticket. There was an auction for many Sly movie items. Dinner was served. And then there was the main event. As you know, I’ve been a die hard fan of Stallone since I was a kid. And my excitement level was so high for meeting Sly till this time even though I have met him in the past.

The event started by a montage. Then Sly was introduced to the stage. He spoke about a few general topics regarding life and failure and how everyone will have to get knocked down at some point. And no one can ever beat life. He spoke also about how his daughters are the best thing that he ever had and that at this time, he is more excited to spend time with them rather than being on a movie set.

He did not talk about any upcoming projects unfortunately and when asked briefly about Rambo V, he didn’t positively say that it will happen. He said they might start looking for locations soon. But didn’t seem sure about wether or not it will work.
He spoke about how the business changed from back in the day where you got the “Hand Made” films and today films.

At the end they showed a clip with Carl Weathers, Van Damme, Michael B Jordan, Al Pacino, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tessa Thompson and Dolph Lundgren all wishing Sly a happy birthday.

I hope you enjoyed my review and would love it if you can share it with all Stallone fans.

Thanks Craig and keep punching.

Wow!  What a wonderful evening.  Thanks for sharing.  SZoners worldwide appreciate it! – Craig

“Rocky” Movie Series Posters by Tony Stella!

Check out this very cool poster for Rocky III created by Tony Stella!

Source: Film ’89.

In response to Film ’89’s tweet featuring Tony Stella’s Rocky III poster, Stella posted the following…

Wow!  I was, pardon the expression since we’re talking about Rocky, knocked out.  I then clicked over to Stella’s Tumbler and fond other different and equally amazing posters created by Tony Stella for the Rocky films.   I think my favorite may be the Rocky II poster, but they’re all awesome.
