On July 16, 2010, Peace FM Online posted a piece about Sly and his long-time dream to make a movie about Edgar Allen Poe.  Here’s a taste:

“I do have a script that’s gone through 20 mutations. Every few years I take it out and rework it and update it. What fascinates me about Poe is that he was such an iconoclast.

It’s a story for every young man or woman who sees themselves as a bit outside the box, or has been ostracized during their life as an oddball or too eccentric. It didn’t work for him either.”

“His work was too hip for the room…”

The stunt co-ordinator said it was one of the few times he was frightened. When Randy pulls you in, it feels like you’re about to be crushed by an anaconda. The Expendables posters are on almost every corner of the STREETS OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. Here are FRESH HOT OFF THE GRILL pictures!

This was by far the biggest banner I’ve seen so far. it is HUGE and they were just putting it up and I was able to get a few pictures while they were installing it.

Here is another poster. And as you can see, this is the headquarters office for Nu Image.

Here is another seat bench on Wilshire Blvd with THE EXPENDABLES on it  And by the way. having THE EXPENDABLES posters on benches and bus stops made it a lot more fun to take the bus.
