{"id":10732,"date":"2019-01-29T05:00:14","date_gmt":"2019-01-29T09:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/wordpress\/?p=10732"},"modified":"2019-01-26T22:04:40","modified_gmt":"2019-01-27T02:04:40","slug":"everything-you-need-to-know-about-rambo-v-last-blood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stallonezone.com\/wordpress\/2019\/01\/29\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-rambo-v-last-blood\/","title":{"rendered":"Everything You Need to Know About &#8220;Rambo V: Last Blood&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2019\/z012919rambo5_allyouneedtoknow.png?w=640\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Padraig Cotter at <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\">ScreenRant<\/a> has posted what he believes to be <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/rambo-5-last-blood-release-date-trailer-story\/\">Everything You Need to Know About <em>Rambo V: Last Blood<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article does a good job of covering the film and is worth a read.&nbsp; Here are a couple of tidbits that stuck out to me&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\nThe star planned to adapt the novel&nbsp;<em>Hunter<\/em>&nbsp;for&nbsp;<em>Rambo V<\/em>, which finds a legendary tracker being tasked by the government to track down a feral, man-made monster. Hunter leads a team of mercenaries after the creature, which seemingly cannot be killed.&nbsp;&nbsp;Since Hunter and Rambo are essentially the same character, Stallone felt the book would make a strong basis for a sequel.\n\nWhen Stallone later pitched this version on&nbsp;<em>Ain\u2019t It Cool News<\/em>, it was met with swift derision from fans, so he soon scrapped the concept; that said, it was recently confirmed he&nbsp;plans to adapt&nbsp;<em>Hunter<\/em>&nbsp;as a solo movie.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although at first look, Rambo and Hunter are similar (and the adaptation would have been fairly easy), I was glad that the decision was made to scrap this idea.&nbsp; I&#8217;m even happier that Sly plans to adapt <em>Hunter<\/em> as a solo movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n<em>First Blood<\/em>&nbsp;author David Morrell revealed in an interview that, around the time Stallone was working on&nbsp;<em>Creed<\/em>, he got in touch about working on a script that would mark a &#8220;<em>soulful<\/em>&#8221; final journey for John Rambo. The pair collaborated on this concept, which Morrell says would have contained action, but it was more about a man who had spent his life at war contemplating his past.\n\nThe author feels this undiscovered&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/rambo-5-original-idea-plot-details\/\"><em>Rambo V<\/em>&nbsp;concept could&#8217;ve garnered awards recognition<\/a>, but when Stallone took it to producers, they rejected it and wanted to focus on the human trafficking story instead. It appears the star wasn\u2019t happy with this, as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/stallone-creed-2-rambo-5-retiring\/\"><em>Stallone<\/em>&nbsp;later announced his retirement<\/a>&nbsp;from both the&nbsp;<em>Rambo<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Expendables<\/em>&nbsp;franchises.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Morrell is not only the creator of Rambo, but an outstanding, award-winning author.&nbsp; It would have been very interesting to see the direction he took Rambo.&nbsp; Morrell still owns the rights to publish any Rambo stories but has elected to tell other stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With all that said, click over and check out&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/rambo-5-last-blood-release-date-trailer-story\/\">Everything You Need to Know About <em>Rambo V: Last Blood<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Padraig Cotter at ScreenRant has posted what he believes to be Everything You Need to Know About Rambo V: Last Blood.
