Yep, <b>Kirk Douglas<\/b>\u00a0was set to play\u00a0<b>Colonel Trautman.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"left\"><strong>Douglas<\/strong> left the production when he learned that the original ending (in which Douglas&#8217; character killed Rambo) had been changed to allow Rambo to live.\u00a0 <strong>Richard Crenna<\/strong> was brought in and the rest, as they say is history.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"left\">The great <b>Drew Struzan<\/b>\u00a0did the poster!<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\" align=\"left\">&#8211;\u00a0<b>Craig<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"left\">Click on the photo to see a bigger version.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This comes to us from my collection.
