Francesco Francavilla<\/a> <\/strong>is an extremely talented artist.\u00a0 His art blog<\/strong><\/a> is a regular stop on my internet travels.\u00a0 I love Francesco’s moody black and white work<\/strong> and was excited to get a copy of his Chiaroscuro sketchbook<\/strong>.\u00a0 I was even more excited to learn that Francesco<\/strong> draws a free “quick sketch” in every copy ordered through his site.\u00a0\u00a0 As you can see from the scan above, he decided to give me his take on Freddy<\/strong> from “Cop Land.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chiaroscuro<\/strong> is 70 pages<\/strong> full of Francesco’s black and white work<\/strong>.\u00a0 It features everything from quick sketches to more detailed work of characters like Hellboy, Batman, Kong, Marv<\/strong>, and so many others.\u00a0 It arrives securely packaged<\/strong> [which is a major plus knowing my mail carrier] and the last page contains the quick sketch. \u00a0 Francesco<\/strong> has another sketchbook available.\u00a0 Schermoscuro<\/strong> is a classic horror movie <\/strong>guide in artbook form.\u00a0 Francesco<\/strong> is offering the same deal<\/strong><\/a> on it and I plan to take him up on it soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
