This week rumors were flying that\u00a0Sly <\/b>might replace\u00a0Arnold Schwarzenegger <\/b>in the remake of the classic “Westworld” <\/b>by\u00a0<\/b>Michael Crichton.\u00a0 AICN<\/b> says…<\/p>\n

“According to a studio insider, the project may now have fallen on fellow action star\u00a0Sylvester Stallone<\/b>‘s lap.”<\/p>\n

Harry\u00a0<\/b>goes on to add…<\/p>\n

“Putting\u00a0Stallone<\/b> in as anything other than the Gunfighter<\/b>\u00a0would be a mistake in my opinion.”<\/p>\n

I loved\u00a0the original\u00a0“Westworld”<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and think that a remake is an excellent idea. I would have loved to have seen\u00a0Sly<\/b>\u00a0as one of the two guys who go there for a vacation and find themselves fighting for their lives [one only briefly] against out of control robots. Now that\u00a0Arnold<\/b>\u00a0is apparently out,\u00a0Sly<\/b>\u00a0could step in an fill the role of\u00a0the Gunfighter<\/b>… or he could still play the Josh Brolin part. Either way, if this rumor pans out,\u00a0Sly<\/b>\u00a0will have a good role.<\/p>\n
