{"id":2264,"date":"2010-03-21T07:17:49","date_gmt":"2010-03-21T11:17:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/wordpress\/?p=2264"},"modified":"2010-03-21T07:17:49","modified_gmt":"2010-03-21T11:17:49","slug":"sly-a-zombie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stallonezone.com\/wordpress\/2010\/03\/21\/sly-a-zombie\/","title":{"rendered":"Sly a Zombie?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><\/strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stallonezone.com\/imgs\/news\/2010\/mar\/031510sly_zombieland.png?resize=475%2C418\" alt=\"\" width=\"475\" height=\"418\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"bodycontents\"><strong>Rhett Reese<\/strong> and <strong>Paul Wernick<\/strong> the writers behind the hit <em><strong>Zombieland<\/strong><\/em> recently said in an interview at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.denofgeek.com\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Den of Geek<\/strong><\/a> that <strong>Sly<\/strong> was one of the actors approached about a cameo as <strong>zombie<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>Patrick Swayze<\/strong> was the first actor that <\/span><span class=\"bodycontents\"><strong>Reese<\/strong> and <strong>Wernick<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"bodycontents\"> had in mind, but when it became known that <\/span><span class=\"bodycontents\"><strong>Swayze<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"bodycontents\"> was very ill, they went to plan two&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span class=\"bodycontents\">So, we officially put pen to paper and brainstormed and wrote about 10 to 15 drafts with different celebrity cameos in mind: Sylvester Stallone, Joe Pesci, Jean Claude Van Damme, Matthew McConaughey, Mark Hamill&#8230; and for one reason or another they all said no.
