Hey Craig<\/strong>, I have been a visitor for your wonderful site since 1996<\/strong> and I’ve been a member for as long as I can remember. I am truly grateful and thankful for the wonderful work you do on your website and I will always be a “Stallonezone”<\/strong> regular \":)\"<\/p>\n

I had the wonderful opportunity of attending “An Evening with Sylvester Stallone”<\/strong>. This was like one of the highlights of my life. Every time I get to see Sly<\/strong> in person, it just gives me this wonderful feeling knowing that I have idolized and grew up watching and listening to this person. So to see him in real, is just mind blowing.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>\"\"<\/p>\n

The evening took place at a REGAL CINEMA <\/strong>in downtown Los Angeles<\/strong>. It was schedueled to start at 8 PM<\/strong>. I woke up that day and I had nothing on my mind except that I will be ATTENDING A CONVERSATION WITH SYLVESTER STALLONE<\/strong>. Basically I ignored everything else going on that day. I arrived to downtown Los Angeles<\/strong> around 2:30 pm<\/strong>. Again the show is not till 8<\/strong>. But I wanted to make sure that I am there way ahead of time because it was first come first served in regards to seating. I grabbed something to eat really quick and headed to the theatre right away.<\/p>\n

I was there at 3pm<\/strong> sharp and YES I WAS THE FIRST TO BE THERE. Even the people who work at the theatre knew right away that I must be such a huge fan for coming in this early. One guy told me to go away and show up an hour before the show starts but I refused. So I spoke with another person who undersstood everything and he went and kindly took me to the second floor where the waiting took place. I was very thankful to him. So I went and waited in line while people were coming in and out for other shows and I was still there. One lady thought I actually worked there and was asking me about some stuff in regards to the theatre which I had no clue what she was talking about. I saw this wonderful STANDEE for the EXPENDABLES<\/strong> which of course I was staring at the whole time \":D\"<\/p>\n

People started to show up around 6 pm<\/strong> and they really did not get us in to the theatre till 8:15pm<\/strong>. I was lucky to be sitting in the middle of the second row which was cool cuz Sly<\/strong> was right in front of me. The theatre was absoloutely full. They showed a beautiful montage of Sly <\/strong>and his movies. The audience started to cheer and applaud. Sly<\/strong> entered the theatre and everyone stood up applauding and cheering. He sat down and started talking.<\/p>\n

He covered so many interesting topics.\u00a0\u00a0 Sly<\/strong> talked abour writing and directing and how it is impossible today to have a unknown writer get his script made into a film and star in. He talked about how Rhinestone<\/strong><\/em> he considers the worst and how even his wife says “You really stink in this one.” He talked about how First Blood<\/strong><\/em> was 3 hours long and had so many cheesy lines and that he wanted to cut everything bad out of it.<\/p>\n

They showed 2 Expendables <\/strong><\/em>clips. The boat scene and the second clip was his fight with Steve Austin<\/strong> which I thought was sooooooo cooooool.\u00a0\u00a0 Also Sly<\/strong> talked about how he really works on his movies today as if they were the LAST ONE and they MAY BE THE LAST ONE. And that is his advice to his co-stars as well so they can give the best performance possible.\u00a0\u00a0 Also mentioned a story on how strict the director of “VICTORY”<\/strong><\/em> was. He mentioned it in a good way. and included a funny story to it.<\/p>\n

These are just a few of my memories of what was discussed and I am really proud that I was able to be part of this. Again I was not able to take picture with Sly<\/strong> which really makes me but just being there was beyond amazing \":)\" I was able to take a picture with the person that interviewed Sly<\/strong> during this event.
