{"id":3217,"date":"2010-11-28T14:14:22","date_gmt":"2010-11-28T18:14:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stallonezone.com\/wordpress\/?p=3217"},"modified":"2010-11-28T14:14:22","modified_gmt":"2010-11-28T18:14:22","slug":"john-beatty-the-expendables","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stallonezone.com\/wordpress\/2010\/11\/28\/john-beatty-the-expendables\/","title":{"rendered":"John Beatty: The Expendables"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><\/strong><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stallonezone.com\/imgs\/news\/2010\/nov\/112810beatty_expendable.png?resize=475%2C625\" alt=\"\" width=\"475\" height=\"625\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The art above was created by my brother from another mother, <a href=\"http:\/\/johnbeattyart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>John Beatty<\/strong><\/a> at our second annual <strong>Black &#8220;Stallone&#8221; Friday<\/strong>.\u00a0 Last year <strong>Big Beatty<\/strong> decided to create a new piece for <a href=\"http:\/\/cjz.deviantart.com\/gallery\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>my Stallone art collection<\/strong><\/a> live on U-Stream.  This allowed <strong>Stallone <\/strong>fans as well as fans of <strong>John&#8217;s art<\/strong> to watch and interact with us live as <strong>John<\/strong> created the piece.\u00a0 We called it <a href=\"https:\/\/stallonezone.com\/wordpress\/?p=1886\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>\u201cBlack Stallone Friday\u201d<\/strong><\/a> and had a blast.<\/p>\n<p>This year, <strong>John<\/strong> decided to sweeten the pot with a free, <em><strong>Expendables<\/strong><\/em> Blu-Ray giveaway.\u00a0 We fired up the <strong>Beattytron<\/strong> and began broadcasting from the beautiful <strong>JBI Studio<\/strong> in downtown <strong>Holly Hill<\/strong> a little before 2pm.\u00a0 The show ran until 9pm &#8212; and <strong>John<\/strong> still had more to do on the piece.\u00a0 Along the way we were joined by <strong>Shana, Sophie, Mike<\/strong> aka <strong>Killer Karl Krupp, Royce, Rob Smith Jr., The Mad Pirate, Husky Courdoroy<\/strong>, and others.\u00a0<strong> Shana <\/strong>was the lucky winner of the DVD set.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t thank John enough for the art.\u00a0 As great as it looks on screen, it is even more impressive in person.\u00a0<strong> John<\/strong> set the bar high and surpassed all expectations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The art above was created by my brother from another mother, John Beatty at our second annual Black &#8220;Stallone&#8221; Friday.\u00a0 Last year Big Beatty decided to create a new piece for my Stallone art collection live on U-Stream.
