I had been a fan of Thomas Boatwright’s art<\/strong><\/a> for a while.\u00a0 When he announced a sale on commissions<\/strong> for the month of December<\/strong>, I wrote to ask him about a Stallone<\/strong> piece for my collection.\u00a0 Thomas quickly responded and said that he was a fan of “First Blood.” <\/strong><\/em> I was surprised at how quickly Thomas<\/strong> finished the piece and that he’d decided to put Richard Crenna’s<\/strong> character in as well.\u00a0 I totally dug everything about it.<\/p>\n

So… I asked Thomas<\/strong> if he was up for some more Stallone<\/strong>.\u00a0 He said that he was, so you’ll be seeing his take on Sly<\/strong> from The Expendables<\/strong><\/em> and Get Carter <\/strong><\/em>on the SZ<\/strong> in the next few weeks.\u00a0 They are just as cool!\u00a0 If you want to see them sooner, Thomas <\/strong>has posted them on his blog<\/strong><\/a> and his DA site<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 Send him some love.<\/p>\n

I hope to get more Stallone<\/strong> art from Thomas<\/strong> in the future.\u00a0 If you get commissions, you should consider him as well.\u00a0 He keeps you totally in the loop on his progress, finishes his commissions on or ahead of schedule, has very reasonable prices and is a fantastic artist!\u00a0 – Craig<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
