The business, appropriately named Sly Inc., is owned by Stallone, veteran beauty and retail executive Michael Henry and other unidentified financial backers.\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Stallone said the first time he personally became \u201ctruly involved in style,\u201d was between \u201cRambo 2\u201d and \u201cRambo 3\u201d when he underwent a \u201chuge weight change,\u201d dropping from 185 to 160 pounds. \u201cNothing fit so I started buying custom clothing. Among the first categories to be introduced will be jeans, shirts, outerwear, underwear and watches, he said. That will be followed by eyewear, grooming products, fragrance, activewear and athletic shoes.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
Stallone said that while the Rocky and Rambo characters were \u201cvery, very urban,\u201d his brand will be designed to appeal to a broad base of customers. \u201cI want clothing that will be appropriate to my generation,\u201d said the 64-year-old actor, \u201cor the generation before.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
The line is expected to be targeted to midtier department stores such as Macy\u2019s, Henry said, and will be \u201ca little premium,\u201d although specific retail price points have yet to be determined. \u201cThis is a brand for a guy\u2019s guy.\u201d<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
