<\/strong><\/strong> <\/strong>On July 16, 2012<\/strong>, TMZ posted<\/strong><\/span><\/a> a cropped version of this 1991<\/strong> Bruce Webber<\/strong> photo of Sly<\/strong> and Sage<\/strong> with the following: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sylvester Stallone<\/strong> tells TMZ he is devastated by the death of his son Sage Stallone<\/strong> and wants “the speculation and questionable reporting” to stop. Stallone — who gave us this picture of him with Sage taken in 1991 by famed photog Bruce Weber<\/strong> — says, “When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son’s memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha.” <\/span><\/p>\n

Sly goes on to say, “This agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives,” adding, “Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, July 21, 2012, Sage Stallone<\/strong> was laid to rest.\u00a0 Sly<\/strong> and Sage’s mom, Sasha Czack,\u00a0<\/strong> led friends and family who came together at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church<\/strong> for the private ceremony<\/strong> in the Brentwood<\/strong> area of Los Angeles<\/strong>.\u00a0 Sasha Czack<\/strong> requested that, in lieu of flowers, mourners make a donation to Autism Speaks<\/strong>. \u00a0
