\nSZoner,\u00a0Christopher Heathcoat<\/strong> aka SlyGu<\/strong>y recently attended a Frank Stallone<\/strong> concert. From all reports Frank<\/strong> has been killing it since he returned to live performing and Chris’<\/strong> report confirms it!<\/p>\n

Here are the photo’s from Frank Stallone’s<\/strong> terrific 30 year anniversary performance signifying his Golden Globe<\/strong> and Emmy\u00a0nominated<\/strong> work for the soundtrack to the Saturday Night Fever<\/strong><\/em> sequel Staying Alive<\/strong><\/em>.<\/div>\n

<\/strong><\/strong>\"\"<\/p>\n

Going in, from previous feedback from yourself and other SZoners<\/strong>, as well as my own past observations of Frank’s<\/strong> career, we were very well aware that he was a multi-talented singer, actor and composer. What I\u00a0didn’t<\/span> know <\/span>(and now, enjoyably am aware of) is just how excitedly versatile Frank Stallone<\/strong> actually is. Frank’s<\/strong> own description of it was Musical Schizophrenic<\/strong><\/em>, including his fave, jazz. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/strong>\"\"<\/p>\n


\n<\/strong>The evening was great. \u00a0Frank<\/strong> performed jazz covers with respectful nod’s to the greats, little stand up historical recollections<\/strong> of his life with his superstar brother<\/strong>, and\u00a0my personal fave, his pure, point on covers of Hendrix’s FOXY LADY<\/strong>\u00a0and his deep devotional to country music<\/strong> in Wake Up Call<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0and though I’m not a huge fan of country music<\/strong>, the lyrics and delivery of that tune, many can relate to.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/strong>\"\"<\/p>\n

Just as i heard the rock group RUSH<\/strong> can not leave town without doing Tom Sawyer<\/strong><\/em>, certainly Mr. Stallone<\/strong> couldn’t leave that engagement without delivering Far From Over<\/strong><\/em> and off came the sport coat thrown to the piano top and\u00a0that is what he closed the show with.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
However, not before a birthday give-a-way to a lovely lady, blessing her with the Frank Stallone<\/strong> street corner singing action figure, as my pictures display. And lastly (but only for that evening as I’d like to enjoy his performances again with family and friends) a meet and greet with myself and my long time friend, Matthew<\/strong>,\u00a0as Frank<\/strong> signed the record album that I\u00a0had purchased when the movie came out.<\/div>\n
