The screenplay by Nick Pileggi, who wrote \u201cGoodfellas\u201d and \u201cCasino,\u201d will gloss over Scarpa\u2019s involvement in 20 murders, and focus on his career as a T.E., a top echelon informant for the FBI, who secretly solved the \u201cMississippi Burning\u201d case…<\/p>\n

Pileggi told me, \u201cIt\u2019s a fabulous story. Stallone is interested. He likes the script.\u201d Irwin Winkler, of \u201cRocky\u201d fame, would produce with Avi Lerner, who produced \u201cThe Expendables\u201d and its sequels.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
