Stallone World: For a more sly take on SLY, try this Brit site. Though it’s loaded with typical fan site features [biography, filmography, news, photos, links, sound files], it’s also got a heaping dose of snarky English cheek. Take this news flash about STALLONE’s next project, a mob spoof: “Few phrases chill quite like ‘A SYLVESTER STALLONE comedy,’ but the man who dared to remake Get Carter is at it again.” http:\/\/www.stalloneworld.com<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
John Rambo Homepage: You might expect web sites celebrating Commie-killing machine John Rambo to be a purely red, white and blue affair, but this Dutch site proves that’s not the case. In addition to detailed descriptions of Rambo’s friends, foes, weapons, and wardrobe, you’ll also find the kind of biographical detail only a non-native speaker can provide. “Rambo is able to ignore pain and badd (sic) weather,” the site tells us. “Rambo will eat things where a billy goat would puke.” http:\/\/www.geocities.com\/john_rambo_site<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Pretty cool, huh?<\/p>\n
Let me begin by congratulating the web masters of Stallone World and the John Rambo Homepage for being selected to represent the best SYLVESTER STALLONE sites on the net. I also think that it’s interesting to note that three sites were selected and each makes its home in a different country, which I think emphasizes the point that SLY is an international superstar<\/p>\n
As for the SZ being listed… what a cool [I use that word again] experience. I want to thank the three guys on staff here at the SZ [John “Big” Beatty, Ernest “Jazzman” Resendes, and rOb DeVera – it’s a team effort and I’m blessed to have a STRONG team!]. I would be remiss if I also didn’t thank the SZ “regulars” [there are too many to list, but you guys\/girls know who you are] and SLY’s fans throughout the world. Finally I have to thank SLY [da man] for the positive impact he’s had on so many people. Now before this starts to sound like an acceptance speech (what? too late? opps – sorry!), it’s back to the news desk!<\/p>\n
