STALLONE IS IN IT FOR ‘THE GREEN<\/b>: Numenorean<\/a> principals Cary Solomon<\/b> and Chuck Konzelman<\/b> have agreed to adapt Troon McAllister<\/b>‘s award-winning novel The<\/a><\/u> Green<\/u><\/a> <\/b>for a spring 2002 shoot starring Sylvester Stallone<\/b>. Stallone<\/b> plays Eddie Caminetti, a golf hustler who reluctantly gets dragged into the upper-crust world of playing for the American team in the Ryder Cup matches – golf’s most prestigious event. Stallone<\/b> is committed and Samuel Jackson<\/b> has expressed interest in playing the team’s coach. The project will be produced jointly with Crusader Entertainment<\/b> and Paramount Pictures<\/b>.<\/p>\n
