Sylvester Stallone<\/span> thinks he is tougher than modern action stars.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 61-year-old Rambo actor<\/span> believes he and his 80s “peers”, Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/span> and Bruce Willis<\/span>, are far more “physical” than today’s “hands-off and intellectual” Hollywood<\/span> heroes.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said: “I think that some young actors will look at me as this archaic, prehistoric creature because now we’ve become much more scientific, less personal.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Most of my peers were very physical. Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/span> and Bruce Willis<\/span> – they were just more hands-on. I think that a lot more actors today are hands-off and they’re more intellectual.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Stallone<\/span> believes Rambo<\/span> would wipe the floor with Matt Damon’s Bourne Ultimatum<\/span> character Jason Bourne<\/span> in a fight.<\/span><\/p>\n

He joked: “Rambo<\/span> would murder Jason Bourne<\/span>. I’m kidding. Maybe the one in The Transporter<\/span> though – Jason Statham<\/span>.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Stallone<\/span> also revealed he is now “best buddies” with his former big screen rival Schwarzenegger<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added in an interview with Britain’s The Sun newspaper<\/span>: “I see him every Saturday<\/span> at Cafe Roma<\/span> in Beverly Hills<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s funny because we used to be so competitive in the ’80s<\/span> and now we’re the best buddies in the world.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Rambo<\/span>, the fourth film featuring Stallone’s<\/span> formidable ex-soldier John Rambo<\/span>, is due to hit cinema screens next month.<\/span>
