On May 11th Entertainment Weekly OnLine<\/b> ran a piece by WILLIAM KECK<\/b> which quoted SYLVESTER STALLONE<\/b> as saying that he’s finished a script for “Rocky VI” <\/b>and would like to begin work on it as soon as he’s finished filming “Champs.”<\/b> The only hold up at this point is whether or not MGM<\/b> is willing to greenlight the film at the budget STALLONE<\/b> needs ($22 million). SLY<\/b> wants to do the film soon noting that “It’s already been ten years since Rocky V<\/b>. It’s now or never.”<\/p>\n
The news that SLY<\/b> himself was talking about making a sixth “Rocky”<\/b> also appeared at Cinescape<\/b>, Ain’t It Cool News<\/b>, and Dark Horizons<\/b>.<\/p>\n
As it stands now we know for certain that SLY<\/b> wants to do a sixth “Rocky.”<\/b> MGM<\/b> was already interested. SLY<\/b> and MGM<\/b> should be able to reach an agreement on the budget.
