<\/h5>\n<\/h5>\nSage Stallone<\/b>,\u00a0Sly<\/b>‘s oldest son, and a talented\u00a0actor<\/b>,\u00a0writer<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0director<\/b>\u00a0in his own right, recently checked in with some photos that he thought\u00a0SZoners<\/b>\u00a0might enjoy. They were taken by his mother,\u00a0Sasha Stallone<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Sasha<\/b>,\u00a0Sly<\/b>‘s first wife, is an accomplished\u00a0photographer<\/b>. Many fans will know her from her photos of\u00a0Sly<\/b>\u00a0which appeared in books, magazines and even posters back in the day.<\/p>\n
This is a shot of\u00a0Sly<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0Rocky<\/b>\u00a0producer,\u00a0Irwin Winkler<\/b>, taken in\u00a01976<\/b>.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2006\/z052806sly_butkis.jpg?resize=563%2C375\")

Sage<\/b>\u00a0writes that this photo was taken “way before\u00a0Rocky<\/b>…\u00a0 dad was writing\u00a0“Poe”<\/b>… and posing as\u00a0Poe<\/b>!”<\/p>\n
Sage<\/b>\u00a0goes on to say, “Mom tells me this was taken at\u00a0Bloomingdales<\/b>\u00a0in ‘71<\/b>!<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2006\/z052806sasha.jpg?resize=275%2C360\")

I want to thank\u00a0Sasha Stallone<\/b>\u00a0for allowing us access to the rare photographs from her\u00a0personal collection.\u00a0 Most fans know that\u00a0Sasha<\/strong>\u00a0was\u00a0Sly’s first wife and the mother of his two sons,\u00a0Sage<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Seargeoh<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0Sasha<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sly<\/strong>\u00a0were together years before\u00a0“Rocky”\u00a0made him an international superstar. Sasha<\/b>‘s photographs have appeared in national magazines, books, and posters.\u00a0Sasha<\/b>\u00a0occasionally acts. She most recently took a role in\u00a0Sage<\/b>‘s film\u00a0“Vic”\u00a0<\/b>where she also served as set photographer.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Most fans know\u00a0Sage\u00a0<\/b>as\u00a0Sly<\/b>‘s real-life son or as\u00a0Rocky<\/b>‘s kid from\u00a0“Rocky V.”<\/b>\u00a0What many people forget is\u00a0“Rocky V”\u00a0<\/b>was released 16 years ago!\u00a0Sage<\/b>\u00a0is now a young man,\u00a0 about the age that\u00a0Sly<\/b>\u00a0was when he made\u00a0“Rocky.”<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n In addition to acting,\u00a0Sage<\/b>\u00a0is also a writer, director and\u00a0 co-founder of\u00a0Grindhouse Releasing<\/b>. His short film\u00a0“Vic”\u00a0<\/b>will be on the festival circuit this year.<\/p>\n

\nSly<\/b>\u00a0has always credited\u00a0Sasha<\/b>\u00a0with being totally supportive in his quest to make it as actor \/ writer \/ director. Not only did\u00a0Sasha<\/b>\u00a0type his scripts, but when they were nearly broke and she was pregnant with\u00a0Sage<\/b>,\u00a0Sasha<\/b>\u00a0totally supported\u00a0Sly<\/b>‘s decision to turn down hundreds of thousands of dollars to sell the\u00a0“Rocky”<\/b>\u00a0script and let someone else take the starring role.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/stallonezone.com\/zone\/2006\/z052806sage.jpg?resize=275%2C360\")
