HI, I HAVE WATCHED ALL THE rOCKY MOVIES FOR MORE THAN A 100 TIMES AND STILL I HAVE GOOSE BUMPS AND ADRENALINE IN A SUPER RUSH. i HAVE A LOT TO SAY ABOUT rOCKY – THE CHARACTER. rIGHT NOW I WOULD SAY ONLY TWO. 1. rOCKY MOVIE IS NOT ABOUT BOXING,ITS ABOUT A MAN’S CHARACTER. bOXING IS ONLY A MEANS OF CONVEYING THE MSG. 2. rOCKY WOULD NEVER HEAR NO BELLS– AS MICKEY WOULD HAVE WANTED HIM TO.

2. can’t believe he ressurected this role. It’s gonna be a mad pimp steez flick. ever since i was a kid i watched rocky on vhs over and over until the tape wore out 🙁 anyway he also is reprising the role of John Rambo!!!!!!

3. hey…i´am deni from germany…i just will say that rocky is the best film in the world that i have seen it!sry for my bad english but the teachers are not so good in germany:)!it´s sad that adrian has died!!!but rocky is brave!!!i have the first time look the film by a friend, and noy i will go to training box! the film had changed my live and i think he has makes me stronger!!! sometimes we all need a hero . I know ROCKY is my hero and is a legend in his on right.thanks for all the great moments and for being a HERO when we need one.

7. I have watched the Rocky movies since I was 14 yrs old. I have the set of 5 on DVD and my Husband and I watch them at least once a month. The Rocky movies did give us a Hero, a man with a heart. I am so sad that Adrianne is not in the #6. Her’s and Rocky’s love for eachother always played such a big part in the movies. I think one of my favorite lines from the movies is when she tells Rocky in #5 that Tommy Gunn doesn’t have Rocky’s heart. Who could. When Sly created Rocky, he created a man with a heart the size of Philly and that is what comes through over and over again in his movies. I can’t wait to see #6. Sly if you ever read these, thanks for Rocky and Adrianne and all of the other charactors. The movies truly are incredible, that’s right all 5 of them:) Good Luck….

8. This is truly remarkable…people who are nuts like i am to love the Rocky saga. I was eight years old when Rocky came out and I was hooked. He is the most inspirational character (other than Michael Corleone) who has always given me a feeling of warmth and treasure, he has always been a good guy and Adrian is also a good supporter of his decisions. As Rocky 5, i was not so pleased with “Tommy Gunn” ..however, when Adrian says to Rocky at the doctors office “When you love someone, you live with them, you live for them….you don’t gamble with a life” made me realize that i feel that way about my girlfriend and that we cannot take people you love for granted. He is a true champion, a man that we all want to be…in our hearts and to not let others see …Men on a whole in this day and age are very competitive and need a “Rocky” to look up to. A figure that tells us that we are like him in every way, a boxer, a labouer, a doctor, a teacher. No matter the state of affairs in your life, the true character of a man is what Rocky is about. A underdog that went the distance and just like us, we must go the distance !!! …take it in and enjoy the triumph!!. To do it with class and silence. If you remember Rocky 4, when he tells his son “when you go that one more round, when you don’t think you can, makes all the difference in your life”. I know I had my hardships and came up on top because of that line stayed in my head. Someday, when i have a son, i will tell him the same thing. That is sooo true and brilliant writing. This is what inspires people. I am the type man today because of Rocky Balboa and his simple silence and total action…there are too many people talking and no action. Anyways, Sly i believe that i can speak for all the fans here…thank you for being a pillar for us and a man who gave us the courage to believe that we can recognize all that is good in ourselves.

10. I just watched the Marathon lastnight on Spike, what a classic. I’m glad I get to see an actual Rocky in the theatres. Too bad Adrian had to die.
