I’ve received word that the official “Rocky Balboa” trailer can be seen with “Pirates of the Caribbean” starting today [July 7th] and on Yahoo beginning Monday [July 10th]! – Craig Zablo

  1. First of all, I saw the Pirates movie on the 7th and it wasn’t there, so just because some saw it in theaters doesn’t mean every other theater is the same.

  12. I’m a HUGE die hard Rocky fan but that trailer was pretty stupid, it sounded like he was over pronouncing “HIT”, no action or training scenes, as I am use to with rocky movies. Gotta do better than that to get the attention

  20. The trailer was beautiful and worth the wait. For those who have been fans all through the 30-year process, this is truly a poignant moment of coming full circle. What a tremendous story. I must say that the trailer brought tears to my eyes so there is not telling how worthless I will be watching the movie. Stallone is a genius. And Craig: superb job!!

  24. I have no words, this is crazy i’ve been waiting for this for so long. I’m 23 and the only Rocky movie that I remember seeing in a theater was the 4th when I was 4 years old and my dad and I had to leave because I was yelling for Drago lol. I missed out on the 5th for some reason, I had no idea there was one until I saw it on HBO. I’m so excited, the trailer looks wonderful. I am bothered however about Adrian not being in it and this new woman. It doesn’t seem right, Rocky and Adrian were made for each other. I don’t think there should have been a replacement but i’m happy he didn’t try to pass off another woman as Adrian other than Talia Shire…that would have been extremely corny.
    I guess I do have words….this is awesome. Decemeber won’t get here fast enough.

  25. I’ll see the pirates of the carribean just to see the trailer on the big screen. I’ve watched it online about 15 times now but the big screen will be amazing. I just may fall out of my chair if I see it in a theater.Its been so long, this is almost creepy. Holy Crap!!!! lol

  28. I love Rocky Balboa! I have gone over the trailer over and over! I am so excited about this movie! It just shows that age is just a number. I am 24 myself, but I grew up watching Rocky movies. These movies have been an inspiration! Who would have thought that years later stalone would reprise his role and which should be the best rocky film of all. PS I got chills when I saw the part when rocky is training hiitng the piece of cow meat just shows that the movie is going back to its old roots! I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  37. If you have read the script, you would know that this “new woman” as you call her is the little girl from the 1st Rocky. The one that Rocky took home and that shouted “Screw you, creepo!”. 🙂 Pretty cool to see her in the new trailer. She was supposed to appear on the 5th movie, but they cut her in the editing room. Don’t know how she will be involved in Rocky’s life in this 6th installment, but I don’t think Stallone would replace Adrian that easily. See ya in theaters in December 2006 !

  38. I just saw the trailer at yahoo. I saw it about 10 times…can´t wait to see the movie. Sly really went the distance this time. The scenes are perfect. The training part of the trailer is the best of all six (kettlebells, plyometrics, chains, olympic weightlifting).Rocky never trained so right.

    Forget that this is the 6th installment. Forget that Stallone/Rocky is obviously old. Forget that critics are going to rip this movie because of the aforementioned reasons. Forget that Stallone is not Oscar-worthy.

    Enjoy the movie for what it is going to be- entertaining, inspiring, and touching.

    Rocky may be old, but I love the character and need more of him.

    Go the movie and enjoy it. Don’t worry about it being the 6th installment. Pretend the previous movies don’t exist.

    Hurry up December.

  49. I live in Studio City, California. I see Burt Young (Pauly) at Starbucks constantly. Now, I’ve had a sneaking suspicion since I first got word of Rocky Balboa that the latest sequel would be nothing more than a gratuitous attempt for Stallone to assuage his ego and make at least one more film that shows on a movie screen rather than just dvd. Whenever I’d see Mr. Young sipping his latte I’d shake my head, certain I could detect a hint of disgrace from the debacle he just made. I assumed the trailer would be an embarassment, greeted with laughs and boos. I saw the trailer last night at the galleria. The butterflies in my stomach are still aflutter; the theater erupted when the iconic Rocky theme began. Perhaps what I had mistaken for shame on my Mr. Young’s face was a quiet confidence that Rocky’s corner is getting the last laugh. ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!

    I grew up on the Rocky movies, and I got all emotional watchting the trailer…and that’s a good sign!

    For me Rocky isn’t just a movie, it’s the best movie ever!
    An inspiration, forever!
