ROCKY you are the BEST! You’re the CHAMP! Win Rocky Win!!! – Aron Scott
If Rocky dies in this one then for the love of god, let him die as number 1..
Because Rocky is NR 1
Dude if rocky dies or doesn’t win, I will be disappointed in this movie. People didn’t like 5 because he didn’t fight in the ring. Just think if he loses and they say ” you are a winner for surviving” or something stupid like that. He should win and not die. Go out like a champ. We see too many fighters lose their final match it’ll be gay. If it goes the other way, its gonna kick ass. Either way, I’m seeing this movie.
The Rocky movies have been passed down from my father to me they inspired him when he was a young man and they did the same for me. They are what inspired me to start protecting myself and others againest tougher people/bullies in fact I was one who after awhile was called on when thier was an issue the hole school new my name. Later after high school it inspired me to go into the navy to see what I could do to serve my country. The important thing for me is that when ever I came up againest something that should have stopped me I always came back too when I say in the 5th movie Rocky is remembering the time Mick said “I aint heard no bell, get up cause Mickey loves yah” , it reminds me of what my great grand mother said before she died ” Make the most of life you only travel the path once and you don’t get any redues”.
Anyway with this newest movie in the series I really think that if Rocky wins he should either die leaving the belt to his son at the end, and the son start training to follow in his fathers foot steps or Rocky should train his son to take the reins. However I do believ that if their is to be a 7th then that is where I hate to say it but Rocky should be retired and the series ending with the son being the champ. The 7th should also finish it completely up!!
It seems silly to speculate on possible endings to a movie but personally, I’d like to see Rocky go the distance – win, lose, or draw; enjoy the moment; make peace with everyone he knows and then either find something else he enjoys or die peacefully in his sleep. I’m a huge Rocky fan and I was disappointed in the ending to Rocky V – was somewhat bitter about the movie – seemed a huge waste because he wasn’t fighting for self respect or a better life or love or anything – instead he was fighting his own protege in the street no less because the kid lacked discipline and Rocky was too nice to set him straight verbally on day one. The whole thing gave me visions of Rocky ending up like Jerry Quarry and made the Rocky III and IV victories seem pyrrhic at best. In truth, I’d long wished they’d just stopped at IV and let him finish as a Champion with health, finances and family intact. Rocky VI needed to be made if for no other reason to clean up loose ends following Rocky V. Rocky VI looks like a winner – with memories of Foreman – Moorer, the Contender series still popular and Hopkins recent thrashing of Tarver for the light-heavyweight title, the premise of an old guy beating a younger champion seems reasonable. Praise Sly for making this movie – I can hardly wait to see it.
