Craig: Sly, you have one of the web’s longest running fan sites in the world! Is there anything you’d like to say to your STALLONEZONErs?

SYLVESTER STALLONE: [LAUGHS] I can’t believe you’ve hung in this long, but thank you very much. I know it’s, you know, kind of like the integrity of the character that keeps bringing you back and I appreciate that. It’s nice knowing somebody like Rocky. It’s been very beneficial for me. And I think the guys that have been really supportive and loyal will be happy with the end result of Rocky Balboa because I think we bring the character to a final and noble conclusion.

    I can’t wait for this movie.

    Rocky inspires the world and once more the world will become inspired on this films release.

  12. i don’t know about having mason getting into a verbal excange with tyson in the movie. It just throws things off. Anyone who knows about boxing knows that Tyson (at his prime) would have crushed Tarver. Plus, having a real life, washed up, tyson, challenging a fictional mason dixon doesn’t bring any realism at all to the movie.

  13. Now with al the “realism” being stitched into the movie, if only we could ever see a caucasion world heavyweight champion again…. that’s the big laugh!

No entiendo que hace Tyson en la Pelicula pero supongo que Stallone queria darle mas realismo a la pelicula o sera ¿que quiere hacer otra version con tyson?pero esto ya no seria mas elocuente,creo que lo mejor hubiera sido invitar a Tyson asi como lo hizo con Tomi Morrison a la pelicula para Boxear en esta pelicula con Tyson en vez de Dixon,esto hubiera dado mas realismo a la pelicula y un mayor taquillaje, ademas de demostrar que estas personas a pesar de sus fuerza no podrian con el corazon y la fortaleza de ROCKY.
    Vi la pelicula en 1978 cuando tenia 9 años y vi en los 80 la parte 2,3 y 4 y en los 90 la quinta parte, ahora en el 2006 la sexta, para mi a sido una bendicion ver todas las peliculas que tanto enseñan,VIVA ROCKY.

    How did you like training for Rocky Balboa? Do you plan to train differently for Rambo IV?

    I read your book Sly Moves and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I was late to return it to the library, and I owed $11.50 in fines. It was worth it.

    I just wanted to let you know that we the slyfans and me myself are so thrilled that another Rocky is on our way.

    We waited such a long time for this movie and I will be good, we know that for sure.

    Ik hope you will come to Holland some day again , I love to meet you in real life, youve been here one time, with the opening of Planet Hollywood in Amsterdam but I missed that one 🙁

    I support you now for almost 22 years and I can speak for my other Dutch sly fans, youre still the man here in Holland!

    I cannot wait to see the new Rocky film and I wanna thank you for making this movie.

  22. Hey Sly, how about bring out Rocky in December for all the fans in the UK? My girlfriend and I came to the first shoot at the Mandalay in Vegas last year. I can’t wait to see how it all looks in the movie.

  23. Great pic. Harkens back to the original when the mighty Joe Frazier made an appearance at the fight Apollo Creed fight. Stallone seems to be fitting all the right pieces together for this final film. Now, if he can just capture the original Rocky character from the first two movies, this one will be a TRUE WINNER!

  25. If you’re really reading, Sly…thanks for Rocky. He’s meant a lot through the years. Can’t tell you how deeply the character first touched me way back in ’76, and still does today.

  33. Im not sure if theres a bigger Rocky fan out there than me but Im a little skeptical about tyson in the movie..People who already thinks this movie is a joke my have even more reason to think that without seeing it…regaurdless Im going to see it 6 times I just hope it doesnt disapoint…

  37. Is anyone getting worried that while the photos are awesome, that its giving away a lot? Its like 2 photos a week for 6 months. Nothing against craig, this is the coolest thing ever to see new stuff all the time, but i’m worried that its too much.

    I was 11 when I saw Rocky 5. I’ve grown up alot since then and I’ve grown to appreciate the depth of the characters and the movie beyond the training and boxing. One of my favorite scenes is Rocky and Adrian on the beach in Rocky 3 talking about being afraid. Classic! Thanks again for coming back for one more round. You’re going to make alot of people very happy.

    If you happen to read this I want to thank you! I wnat to start off by letting you know I tried everything to get a part in Rocky 6. I’m from louisiana(not originally) and bought a plane ticket to audition for an extra or any part in philly. I have been a fan all my life. You have inspired me so much. I even entered your lifechangechallenge (instone). I did awesome,but didnt place. I did get posted on bodybuilding.com for my great transformation. In may of this year I had to get brain surgery. I had whats called an AVM. It hemmorhaged on me may 10th. I had to get it removed. It was located on my right temporal lobe. I am truly blessed. I know all this might sound crazy but its for a reason. You helped me , you helped me become a fighter. It’s been 41/2 months since my surgery and I’m doing great. I’m back in the gym pumping iron again. Its awesome having such a great role model in my life. I truly hope to meet you one day so I can thank you in person. You can ask Drew Cox about me at instone.
