As an added bonus for SYLVESTER STALLONE / ROCKY fans, for the next few weeks we’re going to run Sly’s responses to questions sent in by STALLONEZONErs from around the world!

Craig: You’ve returned to Rocky and soon will start work on your next Rambo film. Are there other characters that you’d like to revisit?

SYLVESTER STALLONE: [LAUGHS ] Well, you know, there’s some things that I, I, I felt as though maybe I didn’t pay [enough] attention [to]. I thought Judge Dredd would have been fantastic, great character just didn’t work. Cobra was also an interesting character, yet could have been fleshed out. I thought Tango and Cash could have hung around for another version. So yeah there, there are always those. There’s about three or four characters I thought still could have hung around for a sequel.

    Sly you are the best!
And i wait the other question-answer Craig.
    Great,great,great!

  5. Craig, I have a quick question for you. These pics are awesome and I am totally addicted to this blog, and I can see how the pics are leading up to the fight. Are any of the upcoming pictures going to give anything away about the end of the movie? I would just like some notice beforehand if so, because I really want to experience the story in the theater. Thanks, man, and keep up the excellent work!!

  6. screw the french, all you shitbags can wait after we in the u.s. see it. my gf likes rocky, but she said he has a lil pee pee, and since i have a large one she said she would still rather service my big one….but hey rocky is cool, im gonna go see it, before the french do

  7. Man, I would Love to see another Dredd film. I’m a big fan of the first one. (I know I’m probably the only one.)And I know it wouldn’t make much sense to make a Copland sequel, but it would be nice to see how Freddie’s doin’ these days. Copland is hands down one of Sly’s best movies ever.

  8. I have no words to use about how excited i am for this film its more to me than just a film like many people i no but i just think hes the best film writer ever, i respect u so much rocky balboa and sylvester stallone

    lv adam x

  9. I agree, would love to see him reunite with Kurt and do a sequel of Tango and Cash. Would also love to see Dredd return.

  10. I love how Pat’s steaks gets advertised in that picture and not Geno’s.
I AM SO SIKED FOR ROCKY SIX!!!!!!!!!!
    SLY STALLONE IS THE MAN!!!!

  11. HEY, DO WE HAVE A RELEASE DATE ON RAMBO YET, OR MAYBE A CONFIRMED STORY LINE. IS THERE GONNA BE A NEW ROCK VIDEO GAME WITH DIXON?

  12. Sly is in la best form!

    60 and still going strong

    You truely are an inspiration

    ROCKY!! ROCKY!! ROCKY!!

  13. I remember having Rocky posters on my wall as a child. I can remember seeing Rocky II in the theatres in 79 (I was 5 at the time). Ever since then I couldn’t wait until the next one. Now I’m back in the place, with that childhood excitement much like the last day of school.

I will be there on opening day cheering outloud as I hope the entire room is doing.

“I see three of them out there!”
“Aim for the one in the middle”

  14. “Over The Top, Part 2: Over the Hill” is what I’m waiting for! Now that would be a sequel long remembered.

  15. I want to see Rocky vs Mr. T II…T can be like he is now, basically a loser, gold chains in hock and pondering doing gay porn for food. Then Rocky can kick his ass again and T starts his new career as T gay man for hire.

  16. Another cool thing they could do with his wife is instead of her being dead is her getting involved with drugs and her turning into a porn chick, doing lots of anal videos and being tarvers hoe

  17. Man, he looks like he could do a sequel to Cliffhanger! Awesome shape.

Looks like he can do whatever he wants, just like Clint Eastwood. Take his time, enjoy the ride (or the training!) and create some classics.

Rocky Balboa looks like a classic to me!

  18. WELL, DO SLY COBRA II!
You can always do Cobra 2. Cobra is one of best films from 80’s! Is true that you actually have “Cobra 2” script in late of 80’s?
My idea: Cobra II: Time To Kill.
    (Sorry my bad english)

  19. Brain damage?
I mean in Rocky 5 it was said that he could never box again cause it would kill him? The brain damage just grew away?

  20. Good pic… I did hear at one time there were plans for a Cobra sequel….i woulda liked that, still watch it at least twice a year.

  21. Re: the “brain damage” post

Don’t even try to bring up inconsistancies in the Rocky movies on this web-site. The legion of blind-to-anything-that-wreaks-of-inconstancy-fans will chew you up and spit you out with a dazzling display of illogic.

As for me, I agree. Whatever happened to his brain damage? And the fight at the end of Rocky V most likely only added to that damage. What gives?

  22. Have you SEEN Rocky Balboa yet? Then shut up. I am more than confident that your questions will be answered. To be complaining that things do not make sense before you have even seen the film is what is illogical. If you are going to gripe that the story is inconsistent, then you apparently have not watched the movies back-to-back and you do not understand the true meaning of the story.

  23. re brain damage
i think if i remember the brain damage that rocky got from drago was inoperable so its quite possible that time has healed it so that he can fight again a bit like swelling around the brain.

thank you sly for doing this picture i have been a boxer for ten years and am 36 years old still trying to push myself you were and still are my inspiration!

  24. ROCKY LOSES A SPLIT DECISION.
JUST LIKE HE DID AGAINST APOLLO CREED.
BUT EVEN THO HE LOSES HE WINS IN EVERYONES EYES.
THIS IS WHAT I READ IN THE SCRIPT FROM A FRIEND WHO SENT IT TO ME FROM MGM WHO WORKS AS PROMOTIONALS.
    GOD BLESS

  25. Sly from the first Rocky film I was inspired. Like many others back then I waited for the next sequels. All of them inspired. Admittedly the last one was my least favorite. But with the upcoming Rocky Balboa movie it looks as though you have fittingly made Rocky come full circle. Im anxiously awaiting its release. Im a lot older now but continue to stay fit and active. Im not ashamed to say that Rocky was the inspiration. Thanks for being Rocky. Keep punching!
