Australian news sources are reporting that interest in the controversial anti-ageing growth hormone has dramatically risen since Sly was allegedly found to be in possession of it on his recent trip to Australia.
HGH is naturally produced by the pituitary gland and promotes healthy growth. There are those who believe that when taken in synthetic form it can enhances muscle growth, sight, hair growth and provide a feeling of general well being. These claims have not be substantiated. HGH production drops off as humans age. Proponents believe that giving HGH to older folks can increase their “youthfulness.”
Australian laws prohibit the importation of natural and manufactured growth hormones without a permit. Sly did not have a permit and therefore is required to enter a plea on his case on April 24th. He will not have to attend the hearing.
