“F.I.S.T.” is Coming to Blu-ray

That’s an autographed mini-poster for “F.I.S.T.” starring Sly Stallone. It’s autographed by Norman Jewison, the director of “F.I.S.T.” and so many great movies.

My pal, Alex [aka LotofSly] surprised me with a package containing it and several other Stallone-related autographs [Thanks again Alex!] but that is not what this post is about.

According to Blu-ray.com F.I.S.T.  is coming to Blu-ray DVD on February 10, 2015.

Mike Torrance, Sly and Dolly!

Mike Torrance aka The Krayola Kidd is back and he’s brought Sly and Dolly Parton from Rhinestone  with him!  This is one of my recent favorites!

Over the coming weeks/months I’ll be posting more of Mike’s sketch card commissions.  My goal is to eventually get a card for every character Sly has played.  We’re well on our way!

You can see more of Mike’s art at his Deviant Art siteMike is available for commissions and his prices are very reasonable.

Jerry Gaylord Gets Carter or Barney Ross!

Jerry Gaylord aka The Franchize returns with his take on Sly from Get Carter.  Stallone purists may say, wait, he’s got the tats of Barney Ross.  Ok, then for you folks, it’s Barney Ross!

Jerry is one of my favorite sketch artists.  He always gives collectors more than they’re expecting and he is just plain good!

I highly recommend Jerry to all sketch collectors. He quickly responds to e-mails, his turnaround time is fast and he packages the art to ensure it arrives safely.
