Sly’s Tweets Are News
Last week I posted that Sly was now on Twitter. It didn’t take long before his tweet about wanting Bruce Willis back for The Expendables II made news. Having Bruce back is a great idea. Let’s just hope Sly meant super villain as real mean bad guy with NO super powers. ; )
Expendables UK Press Conference Coverage
On August 16, 2010, The Den of Geek posted coverage of The Expendables UK press conference. Here’ s a taste from Sly:
“Well, I have made a lot of career mistakes, a lot and I have made a lot of personal ones too! But the idea is, I never started out to be an action actor. I was an ensemble actor. Rocky was ensemble, F.I.S.T. was ensemble and Paradise Alley was ensemble. Then along came First Blood and it was the start of something unusual.”
“I think everyone in this room, everyone on the planet, has a regret. That in one moment they made the wrong decision, and sometimes you can just never get your life back on course. And that theme from Rocky Balboa, to Rambo, it just haunts me. Maybe I’m just mono-minded, or limited, but it’s just inextinguishable.”

StalloneZone Exclusive: The Expendables Vegas Premiere
SlyStalloneFan is back and his amazing run of great timing and luck took him to the Las Vegas Premiere of The Expendables. Here are his photos and report…
Hello again Craig. I was live at the RED CARPET PREMIERE OF THE EXPENDABLES in LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. The crowd was big and the stars even bigger. I watched as Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, walked the “red carpet.” Sly waited until Arnold arrived so they could enter together. How cool is that? You had Rocky and The Terminator both walking the red carpet together. Two Icons. To me that was just mind blowing.
It was an amazing experience. All the stars posed for pictures and spoke to the press. Then I was in the theatre ready to watch the movie (again). Sly came in and introduced all the actors that were in the movie and available for the Vegas premiere. I got to see them all standing next to each other right before the movie. There was a private party after the movie and I was so lucky that I got to attend. I really can’t believe that I was there and saw all these great actors in person. I took some pictures and I knew I had to share them with you. Hope you like them Craig and I hope all the visitors to your site enjoy them as well.

StalloneZone Exclusive: Sly @ Jay Leno Show
SlyStalloneFan is back with another StalloneZone exclusive!
Hello Craig, it has been a very busy time for me lately and it is totally an amazing time for every STALLONE FAN. On Monday, August 2nd, I attended a live recording of the Jay Leno show. And of course I wanted to be there because Sly was appearing to promote The Expendables.
It was very great to see Sly do the Jay Leno show live and I am sure you have seen it on tv so you know how great and funny Sly was. I was lucky to catch Sly just while he was leaving the Jay Leno show and I took a few pictures that I think you would like a lot.
Thanks Craig and keep up the good work.
Wow! SlyStalloneFan has had an amazing run of being in the right place at the right time. Will the streak end? Not yet. My guess [and believe me, I have some inside info, is that he’ll be back with another StalloneZone exclusive soon!]. Thanks once again to SlyStalloneFan for sharing his photos and good luck! – Craig
StalloneZone Exclusive: SlyStalloneFan @ Expendables Hollywood Premiere
SZoner, SlyStalloneFan is back with a StalloneZone exclusive. Here is his report and photos from the Hollywood premiere of The Expendables! Take it away SlyStalloneFan…
The premiere took place on Hollywood Blvd. Now I pass by Hollywood Blvd all the time. But the day of the premiere, Hollywood Blvd. DID NOT LOOK THE SAME. The crowd was huge. People were waiting there for hours. Security was tight. I spoke with a lot of security/police officers and they told me that the crowd there for The EXPENDABLES was one of the biggest that they had ever seen.
I got to Hollywood Blvd. around 1 PM and I people were already there with The Expendables posters, banners, etc. Around 5:30 the fun and excitement really started. All of a sudden I saw Dolph Lundgren walk by. Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger (who went in very quickly perhaps because there were so many people there protesting again him) and of course our hero arrived with his beautiful wife and their beautiful daughters. Sly got a very warm welcome from fans (including me) who started to cheer.
I was able to see some other actors who are not in the movie. I saw Rob Schneider after the movie ended as he was leaving. I also was very happy and pleased to meet John Herzfeld who is a very close friend of Sly. I asked him about the documentary he is created on the making of THE EXPENDABLES and he told me that it will be on TV very soon. He was a very nice person.
So bottom line is this, the event was great. The crowd was huge, and people seemed very satisfied coming out of the theater after watching THE EXPENDABLES. I am truly happy that I was able to attend the premiere and the least I can do is share my story and pictures with you and all the other wonderful SZoners.
Here is Sly just coming out of his SUV and you can see Jennifer there too.
Another shot of Sly, here signing autographs.
In this picture here you can see The WRESTLER, Mickey Rourke

Craig, I just would like to say thanks to Sylvester Stallone. As you know I have been a die hard fan all my life and there are no words that can express how I feel about Sly and his movies. To see what Sly had to go through, surgery, injuries, in order to make this movie, makes me so proud to say that I am a huge fan of Sylvester Stallone.
Sly, you will always be my favorite actor, my hero and my biggest inspiration.
Thanks to SlyStalloneFan for sharing the report and photos! My guess is he’ll be back REAL soon with more StalloneZone exclusives! – Craig
