Charipar’s Sly from Spy Kids 3D
I wasn’t expecting to see Andrew Charipar at this year’s Heroes Con. In fact, he almost didn’t make it due to car problems. Thankfully, he did and worked up a couple of new Stallone sketches for me. This is, Sly as one of the many characters he played in Spy Kids 3D. More of Andrew’s art can be seen at his blog and DA site.

Although five movies premiered this week in wide release, none were strong enough to knock The Expendables from its hold on the top box office spot. Although final figures won’t be in until Monday, weekend estimates have it like this…

- Vampires Suck – $12.2 million – $18.6 million total
- Eat Pray Love – $12 million – $47.1 million total
- Lottery Ticket – $11.1 million – $11.1 million total
- The Other Guys – $10.1 million – $88.2 million total
