  4. She will be in flashbacks but not actually in the movie. The movie takes place 10 years after the last one I think and she died within that period.I think…

  17. I was fortunate enough to be a ringside “extra” during the fight seens in Rocky 6…filmed at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada in late 2005. It was a few days that I will never forget. It was a Rocky fans dream come true. I come from a small town in a rural state (Montana), so needless to say I’ve never seen any stars before…little alone mega star, Sly Stalone. At one point I was standing right next to him as he was making his way out of the ring right after the fight. He stopped and signed autographs between takes. A true good guy! He KNOWS how important this film is to the fans, as it is an extremely important film for him as well, obviously. The fight scenes are incredible, very well done. It was fun to watch Sly act, and then say cut and imediately start directing and editing film. We all love Paulie, and I had a little cool moment (I thought) with him. From the ringside seats I saw he was signing autographs and taking pictures by the ring during some downtime from shooting. I didn’t want to bumrush him like everyone else, so I just sat there and admired from a little distance. Then shooting was about to start up again so security got everyone back in their seats. Paulie was up on the ring, in Rocky’s corner. He was looking around the arena, we caught eachothers attention, so I smiled and gave him a thumbs up (as if to say, right on Paulie, you the man–this is a special time/moive and we both know it). I looked away not knowing if he had actually seen me and then saw in the corner of my eye him giving me a thumbs up back. So I turned his way again and gave him another thumbs up and he gave me another one to make sure I saw him. I’ll never forget that!!!

  20. I am very excited about this movie. Everytime I watch Rocky (the first one) I get the same chills, inspiration, and tears as when I FIRST watched it. The ending always brings such elation. I think it is the perfect movie. Best movie ever made, hands down. Some of you people are extremely rude on here. But I am no stranger to it, you morons are increasing by numbers.

    But what matters is the people who believe, those who fight for their dreams, even if they do or don’t have a fighting chance. What matters is love, endurance, faith, strength, and all the beautiful things that fuel your fire and passion for life and your dreams.

    I just can’t wait for this Rocky to come out. I think maybe Talia isn’t in this one for some reason..(a tiny hint in the trailer..), I will miss her, she was such a strong character in all the movies, but now December is going to be a greatly anticipated month for me..I will have a birthday, I will be married, Christmas, and ROCKY SIX!!

  31. I think this is going to be a great film. I also think rocky could of fought someone more ferocious like Tyson, Hopkins or lenox lewis mabe even roy jones. Tarver isn’t even that good. replacing him woulda made the movie even more better. But thats just my opinion. It will still be good though.

  42. I am a huge Rocky Balboa fan! I couldn’t have been happier when I read about the new movie. If I had one wish it would be to meet the wonderfull and very talented Sylvester Stallone!

  43. I’m curious to see how they get around the fact that Rocky couldn’t get medical clearance to fight 15 yeaqrs ago due to brain damage; yet now he can. Hopefully, there is a very good explanation for this or else the entire storyline loses all credibility.

    Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been a HUGE fan of the Rocky movies since 1976, but I always felt that “Rocky V” was a mistake that should never have been made and hopefully the upcoming “Rocky Balboa” will bring redemption to the character of Rocky and allow the “Rocky” franchise to end with dignity and honor.
