The trailer should premiere on Access Hollywood tonight or tomorrow and then with “Casino Royale” which opens on Friday [11/17]. We are also adding trivia, polls and a soundboard to the official site so keep a look out for that.

Craig Zablo: Have you ever regretted passing on a role in a movie?

SYLVESTER STALLONE: Sure, oh my God, there are so many things… like, “Witness” and “Romancing The Stone.” I think at one time I was mentioned for “Coming Home.” I don’t know if that’s true but, you know, when you’re at your peak you’re offered so much. And quite often you don’t do it and it’s a big mistake.

Just watched the new trailer on Yahoo and as excited as I am to see it I really feel it’s not as tight and exciting as the first trailer but – still it captures the direction of the film but I must admit the rap song worries me. I love rap but that song seems pretty lame, I hope it’s not a big part of the film.
    Still, bring it on!! Bring it on!!

    Notice how they laugh about Rocky in the Conference… Goosebumbs, when Rocky looks down very sad… Can somebody write down the sentence the reporters say to Rocky? My English is not so good. Please!

  10. Hi all, I’m French, and i’m a huge Rocky’s fan.
    This new trailer is definitely awesome!! It gave me chills…Rocky’s still an underdog, and he’s gonna fight back!! I’m sure it’s gonna be a helluva movie!!
    However, at the press conference, people seem to laugh at Rocky…I didn’t understand what the journalist has said? Please tell me guys!

  11. I just watched the new trailer and I have to say that this is the movie event of the decade. It looks as if Sly has recaptured the grit of the first film and the glamour of the third and fourth. I really hope Sly gets all the accolades he deserves for this. MAN, I really can’t wait until Feb to see this. COME ON!!!!!!!

  13. Oh my God!!! What a trailer!!! Am I dreaming or what?! A new and improved version of “eye of the tiger”?! People calling the fight an execution, chalenging Rocky´s will and heart?! Tony asking in the last round if Rocky can do it?!
    Watching only the trailers I am sure that “Rocky Balboa” will make story as one of the best movies of all time.

  17. Great trailer. When that reporter makes the “Balboasaurus” crack at the press conference, and you see Rocky’s reaction, it just makes you understand what the movie’s all about.

  23. The journalist called Rocky a Balboasaurs, referring that he is too old to be fighting and that his time has passed. I say GO FOR IT ROC! KICK HIS ASS!   28. The reporter said, people are calling Rocky a Balboasauraus. That’s what drew all the laughs. A very nice touch was Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant. As we know Merchant has a way og getting under people’s skin, and I can see it being no different in the movie, like he says, ‘so they don’t have to call it an execution’. Good line!!

  29. As far as the rap song goes, maybe it’s not very Rocky, but maybe it is very Mason Dixon. The song sounds like it’s probably what Dixon would use for his ring walk. But putting it in the trailer is a smart move. So much of todays society is hip hop and hearing a song like that in a movie trailer might draw a few more into the theatres. Just a thought…

I like Larry Merchant’s comment about it being billed as an exhibition, so it doesn’t have to be called an execution. I am maybe the biggest Rocky fan ever, but even I had my doubts about how he would deal with the whole “age” issue. Honestly, though, it seems like he pulled it off by making it a central part of the movie, and not running from it.

  33. Rocky sequels 3 and 4 had new music tht really rocked. The old music sounds great, though. New music sounded good too. The trailer is just outstanding.

  44. This is AWESOME! Personally, I am not REAL big on hip-hop and rap music but that song KICKS ASS! That song is what put the butterflys in my stomach! And with that “Eye Of The Tiger” mixed in with it! I got an immediate burst of adrenaline running through my body! it sent shivers up my spine! Not to mention the nostalgia of being back in Rocky’s Philly neighborhood! That shot of Sly and Milo in the trailer, where they are standing out side on the sidewalk at night! Words CANNOT EVEN describe my emotions and excitement for this film! This installment, will become a CLASSIC! just like the original, just like ALL of them! just wait and see everybody!   45. I think Rocky will lose the fight by split decision, bringing everything full circle. After everyone ridiculing him throughout the movie, a split decision loss still more than makes his point.
