  2. I have seen the TV spot on ‘Your Tube’ it’s pretty good, infact I loved it! the quality is not brilliant though.
    Empire Magazine the UK edition says that Rocky Balboa looks to exceed all expectations and it continues by saying that you can not rule it out for an oscar nomination in 2007. That’s a direct quote from Empire. It also has a big Rocky Balboa poster inside which is pretty dam cool!

    I can’t wait until Fen 7 2007.

  3. I have seen the ROCKY BALBOA TV spot on ‘Your Tube’ and it looks pretty dam good even though the quality is not all that. Roll on Feb 7th 2007 when it’s released in the UK.

    In this month’s EMPIRE magazine the UK EDITION has a review on Rocky Balboa and it quotes the following – Rocky Balboa looks set to exceed everyone’s expectations and you can not rule it out for a possible oscar nomination in 2007. If you don’t believe me see it for your self. You also get a large Rocky Balboa poster inside which is pretty cool.

  5. I saw the movie last night at the Detroit Premier. It was fabulous! I will not be telling what happens like some other obnoxious people on this website. They are assholes and try to ruin life for other people because they are truly that depressed in life. Quite the opposite to the Rocky Movies which are of inspiration to others and this movie is just that as well. Enjoy the movie fans….I know you will!!!!!

    You dont need to wait until February in the UK now – check out the IMDB. All the release date shave been changed (approx last weekend). Rocky Balboa is now being released in the UK on 19 January (this was changed after the latest Total Film and Empire Mags had been published!).

  14. Was able to catch a special screening at the Southfield theater for that fundraiser. First the movie was good. Not great but good. A good closure to the character. Second (and I hope this reaches the right people) the V.I.P setup for that fundraiser misused Stallones name and left several people unhappy. Thats a horrible shame to because tickets cost so much.

  16. Sly, the Rocky series is gold. I’ve heard great things about the newest installment and the trailer looks awesome. My girlfriend, who has never seen a Rocky movie, is even stoked about seeing this one. Can’t wait for it!

  17. The dog say’s in 2001 I had stage 4 lymphoma and ROCKY movies pulled me through . Please don’t die at the end of this one . It’s not what Rock is about . This movie is going to be huge !!!! Keep the conti sound during workout and fight scenes ….

  18. ok you Balboa freaks..i need somebody with real knowledge. we all know the song from the soundtrack with the bells. where can u get the specific version that plays in rocky II right after adrian tells rocky to “win” in the hospital then launches into the training montage. somebody please tell me. i’m just looking for that version. not some of these other versions that have the bells in it like on the rocky ii soundtrack but aren’t that same specific version. follow me?

  19. O Mii!!!! i have been waiting for another ROCKY move to come out!!! and me my dad and my friend and her dad are going to go see it on the 20th! and i can’t wait i’m sososo exited to see it! I’ve watched all the rocky movies over and over agian and i’m so exited

  21. it’s because of your movies i am who i am today. I use to be quite and reserved and always scared to fight for what i want. i had no heart plain and simple. But seeing what rocky did in his movies inspired me to fight and never give up no matter how tough the situation maybe, because of your films i made it in to a prestige university, became a huge boxing fan, and whipped myself in to shape as if i were going to go toe to toe with someone in the prize ring. so thank you for inspireing me sly and i know this final installment will help me become even more inspired to go the distance and push myself beyond my limits. good bless, -S.A.Melo

I had major sinus surgery kept in hospital, went home before I was suppose to to see Rocky Balboa,doctor told me to stay in bed 3 days.Whole movie was good until end.Why would you do this, I was so sad, let down and disappointed.I love Sly, and the Rocky movies were the most Golden memories of a lifetime for me.I was disappointed in Rocky % that he was left mentally impaired, broke and stripped of dignity, but at least he did win a street fight, so it was kinda ok, all was not lost.Rocky lost Why oh Why would you do this to people who love you so? I thought I was coming to see the ultimate farewell and most unbelievable underdog story ever, true inspiration,instead ultimate defeat, end would have done us right if Rocky would have knocked out last minute, kept his fire grew stronger, you could have flashed to him beating again for title, and the fact that he defended title and won couple more times before retiring, that would have left us happy.At least we see he got his mind back, but thats just nothing to the dissapointement experirenced, please fix this for us Sly, you can still pull and change ending for your fans, God Bless

    I just came from seeing Rocky Balboa. All I can say is WOW! You had me laughing and crying but most of all feeling pure joy that FINALLY I was watching a real movie for the first time in a long time. Most movies out there are garbage. This has to be the best movie I have seen in years. I love Rocky and always will. I loved Rocky 1 and this was just as wonderful. Great job and thank you, thank you, thank you for such a beautiful movie. You are truly talented and a brilliant film maker.

  33. Sly – Job well done! The Rocky Balboa Movie was fantastic! It touched my heart just like Rocky #1. You brought all the characters back to their true roles from the first movie. I cried, laughed and learned some valuable lessons. I’ve bragged about the movie to all my colleagues and friends. I work with clients all over the US. I’ve already spread the word out to 7 cities today and will keep going. I really appreciate you sharing your talents with us (writer,producer, director and actor – JUST AMAZING!).   34. I saw th movie today. Had no real expecctations (when I first heard about this movie, I kinda rolled my eyes and said, “are you kidding?”

    Well, I was shocked by the movie. It was so much better than I ever expected. What a fitting way to end the series. Thanks for bringing the series to a heartwarming and appropriate close.

  36. Congratulations Sly! Your movie is incredible and the Rocky legend couldnt have ended on a better note. I’ve been a huge Rocky fan since the original and the new movie was absolutely brilliant!
