  9. Dude you Rock!! I have been a huge Rocky fan since I was kid!! Me and my kid are so excited to see the movie on the 22nd! He became a fan through me and the Rocky movie collection I have. Its amazing the Rocky fans span generations, that is so cool! Rock on!

  22. Does somebody knows when the Rocky Balboa soundtrack is coming out?
    I hope that the compilation “Rocky Balboa – The Best of Rocky” (wich includes “it’s a Fight”, the song you hear in the second trailer!) coming out on December 12th is not supposed to be the one I’m looking foward to.
    Did Bill Conti compose or Re-worked something new?
    Can anybody help me?

  25. I think this will be an great succesful movie,here in Italy there’s a lot of fan and in generally Rocky is an institution! He capture all the generations,from my father to my son!
    I’m really pleased that an genuine man like Mr. Stallone play this charchter and represent an little part of italian culture.

  27. Okay I’ve heard 3 dates now for this movie. Originally I heard Dec. 22. Then on TV I heared Christmas day. Now I’m hearing Dec. 20th. Is there an official date set?

  28. This pic looks like the ending of the fight in the first Rocky. Where apollo says “aint gonna be no rematch”..

    During that scene rocky and apolla stumble the same way as rocky does here with Dixon…

  32. Man…Rocky, I am so like anxiously awaiting this comback. Rocky has been with me since i was a little kid. and i am 40 now and everytime they give the marothons on tv I sit and make it a balboa fest day. Sly your the best man.

  35. I write from italy. I’m twenty years old and i’m a really great fan of all sly’s films, especially rocky. I’d like to tell you all something that happened to me yesterday.
    I was playing soccer in a park with some old friends of mine and when they have to go home i stayed there for a while.
    So i met a kid, a very young kid. He’s eleven years hold and his name is Ares. Very strangely i felt like he was the younger me and we start playing soccer togheter and speaking about films we had grown up with and so he sad to me that he liked very much Terminetor. My answer was: “I just don’t love too much that movie…my generation (1981) you know, has grown up with other type of films and heros”…and he sad to me: “what kind of films what kind of heros you are talking about” and me “…Rocky, for example”.
    “Yeah, that movie is absolutely awesome…i know everything about the films and life of Sylvester Stallone!!!” I couldn’t believe to my eyes! He was jus eleven years old and he just knew more things about rocky and sly’s life than me.
    I always thought that sly’s movies were fucking dead…you know, like you can read in so many papers and on-line previews…i always thought that the values in his movies were fuckin dead, in a so bad world…I always thought that no one in those new generations can love his movies anymore…I always went wrong. So thank you Ares…you have lighted me and i hope that you won’t never forget sly and his films cause the’re so great and true and talk about dreaming and hoping…two things that usually nowadays don’t have any importance…this is way this world sucks so much.
    At the end of the day i realesed that maybe not everything is gone, not everything is lost…there’s always a chance for a better world, and the fact that the one who has given to me a sign was a eleven years old kid…it’s extremely positive. Sly, we will always love you, no matter what some sceptic can tell or write and no matter how old are you or your friends.

  37. the song is called “it’s a fight” by The Three Six Mafia. If you go to amazon.com they have the soundtrack up for sale….but you can only pre order cause it won’t be released til Dec. 26.

  41. You don’t get movies like this anymore, Rocky is one of a kind, I can’t wait to see this movie, it’s marked on my calender, there is one thing I know for sure what will happen in that movie theather, people will go crazy, they’ll be chanting Rocky’s name, it’s gonna be like a Rock Concert.

  45. I was reading the Rocky article in this months Empire and they reckon Rocky Balboa is the surprise movie of 2007 and could be in the running come Oscar time. How great would that be? You guys in the US are lucky, we in the UK have to wait until Feb 2007 for this. This is already the movie event of 2007. COME ON!!!!!!!
