Sly to Write, Direct & Star in Hunter!

Bloody Disgusting has reported that

  • Stallone and Lionsgate have inked up a deal to fast track Hunter for 2014 release date. Stallone is set to star, write and direct, which will be filmed in 3-D.

I really hope this pans out. Hunter was written by James Byron Huggins specifically with Sly in mind. It’s an awesome book that will translate into a very cool movie.

  • A beast is loose somewhere north of the Arctic Circle. It has already decimated a secret research facility and annihilated a squad of elite military guards. And the raging creature is headed south toward civilization, ready to wreak bloody devastation. It is a job Hunter cannot turn down, but he soon discovers that his prey is terror incarnate, a half-human abomination created by a renegade agency through a series of outlawed genetic experiments. It has man’s cunning, a predator’s savageness, and a prehistoric power that has transcended the ages.”

Let’s hope everything lines up and Hunter gets made with Stallone at the helm. – Craig

Eastwood: “Maybe I’ll Direct Expendables 3.”

According to Channel 24, Clint Eastwood recently was asked he if was considering a role in The Expendables 3 and he replied…

  • “Probably not. I’m probably more apt to direct something. Maybe I’ll direct Expendables 3.

My guess is that Mr. Eastwood’s tongue was planted firmly in his cheek, but it would be pretty cool to his take on The Expendables. – Craig

Results In: Sage Died from Heart Disease

On August 30, 2012, the news broke that Sage Stallone died from a heart attack and that he suffered from heart disease.  While this is a tragedy, the fact that many people/sites jumped to the conclusion that illegal drugs were involved only made the situation worse.

I am glad that many sites did follow up with the results that Sage was not involved in drugs and that they didn’t contribute to his death.

Here’s Frank Stallone’s message about the situation.

RIP Sage Stallone. – Craig
