On August 21, 2011, Worst Previews posted an interesting article titled “Renny Harlin Never Wanted Sylvester Stallone for ‘Cliffhanger'”. Here are some tidbits…
Congrats to Worst Previews for a well done piece!
The big story this week is a potential new Rambo movie that could be in the works. Although I felt that the last Rambo effectively wrapped up the series, I do like the idea of Rambo: Last Stand done “with the tone of Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven.”
And many other sites…

On August 15, 2011, ProfessionalJeweller.com posted a piece about a jewell thief recently caught in London after an eye witness reported that the thief looked like “Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone.” By the way, that IS Sly in the photo that ran with the article.

My buddy, Mike Torrance aka The Krayola Kidd is back. This time Mike brought a couple of friends with him. That’s Gabriel Cash on the left and Ray Tango on the right. Mike created the cards for me as reward for winning one of his free monthly sketch card contests. Love the movie, dig the art.
You can see more of Mike’s art at The Daily Sketch with The Krayola Kidd and his Deviant Art site. Mike is available for commissions and his prices are very reasonable. And don’t forget that once a month Mike has a contest for someone to win a free sketchcard!

The big [only] news for this week continues to be the new Rambo video game…

Jeremy Treece has created art for comic books, trading cards, animation and independent films. Today we have Treece’s take on Jack Carter from one of my favorite Stallone films, “Get Carter”.
You can see more of Jeremy’s art here… and hopefully again here at the SZ in the future.

Did you know that there is a new Rambo video game being developed for release in 2012? Now you do!
And here’s more on it! And more! And more! And even more! Yes, there is more!
And if you want to look… even more places on the web with the news.

Casting rumors for The Expendables 2 continue to dominate the news at sites across the web…
And many other sites!
