On September 15, 2010, Showbiz Spy posted that Sly is interested in getting Mike Tyson on board for Expendables II. According to the report…
“Sly likes the idea of using guys with their own fan base who people will be intrigued to see on film,” says a movie insider.

That’s the ad for the new Rocky statue coming from the Hollywood Collectibles Group. It appeared in a recent issue of Previews, a catalog available to comic shops and collectors. I still get jazzed to think that Edinho Maga was discovered after I posted his work on the StalloneZone.
Remember the Rocky statue is coming out this fall and pre-orders are now being taken! – Craig

In a September 11, 2010 post at Daily News and Analysis, Sly calls Arnold Schwarzenegger…
…the most extraordinary guy I’ve ever met…

When Steven Sanchez announced that he was doing the Sketchshots, the timing was perfect. I jumped on board and asked for three of my favorite Stallone characters [Rocky, Rambo and Jack Carter].
Steven not only agreed, we exchanged a couple of e-mails and he finished the piece within 24 hours. [Probably much less]. How often does that happen… and with fantastic results.
I hope to get more from him in the future and highly recommend him to others looking for a commission. You can see more of Steven’s art here. – Craig

SZoner, Edinho Maga who does all of the great statues for the Hollywood Collectibles Group wrote in to say that he’s working on a piece for them of Sly from The Expendables! Edinho also sent in a couple of photos to show his progress.
I can not wait to see the Hollywood Collectibles Group’s treatment for this piece. You just know it will be first rate and look great in your collection. I know it will in mine.
Don’t forget that the Rocky statue and the second Rambo statue (both from Hollywood Collectibles) are still available.– Craig
