Have you seen this poster for The Tomb starring Sly and Arnold? We hope to get a better photo soon.

On February 24, 2013, the Mirror posted a slightly bigger version of the photo above of Sly heading to the set of Grudge Match. They also have a similar shot of Robert Deniro.
Here are some tidbits from the piece:
The comedy sees the stars play rival fighters persuaded to come out of retirement for one final bout… 50 years after their last match.
A Hollywood insider said: “This has all the makings of a classic. Not only have you got two of the biggest names in Hollywood, but you’ve got the lead roles in the two most famous boxing films of all time.
“Getting Jake Lamotta and Rocky Balboa to square up after all these years is absolute genius, and I’m sure a lot of people are very excited about the prospect of watching them slugging it out.”

On February 21, 2013, Express posted, Renny Harlin Tricked Sylvester Stallone into Facing his Fear of Heights for Cliffhanger. Harlin explains how he worked to get Sly to overcome his fear of heights for scenes in Cliffhanger.

Here’s our first look at Sly and Robert Deniro on the set of their forthcoming film, Grudge Match. It’s going to be interesting to see Rocky vs the Raging Bull.
On a side note, did you notice that Sly’s tats are covered for this role.
Grudge Match opens November 15, 2013.

This week we have the return of Evan Bryce Cranston with an unexpected addition to my Stallone Sketch Collection. To help celebrate Valentine’s Day and to have some fun for those that follow Evan’s Art Blog, Evan decided to have a random drawing and the winner would receive a specially created piece of art for a Valentine’s Day card.
The random number generator pushed out my number and I ended up winning this awesome Rocky piece. It’s a, uh, knockout!
Check out Evan’s site and say, “Hi.” He’s not only a talented artist but a great guy.
Thanks Evan!

MovieHole recently posted that Nu-Image/Millennium had Rambo V posters on display at the Berlin Film Festival. The poster is a slightly modified take on a previous poster used to promote the idea of a new Rambo film. According to the piece…
…the new “Rambo” won’t happen before Sly gets back with his ‘Expendables’ buddies though; Millennium announced in Berlin that “The Expendables 3″ – which will assumingly reunite Stallone with co-stars Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis etc – is gearing up to shoot this Summer. Guessing Sly’s already got his draft in. With “The Expendables 2″ making over $300 million worldwide, this is a no-brainer.
Jerry Gaylord aka The Franchize makes his second, but not his last appearance in my Stallone Sketch Gallery with his take on Sly as Rocky.
I highly recommend Jerry to all sketch collectors. He quickly responds to e-mails, his turnaround time is quick and he packages the art to ensure it arrives safely.

On February 4, 2013, Pegasus News posted a review of Bullet to the Head by Liz Tramer titled Bullet to the Head is a Fully Loaded Flick: It’s Sly Doing What He Does Best. Here are a few quotes… – Craig
Let’s be honest, if you are planning on seeing Sylvester Stallone’s new movie, Bullet to the Head, you are not looking for a high-brow film. You are looking for a shoot ‘em up that kicks ass, and you won’t be disappointed.
In an age where previews and opening weekends can determine a film’s success, Bullet to the Head is exactly what it promotes itself as … Sylvester Stallone doing what he does best …
On February 4, 2013, Digital Spy posted Sylvester Stallone: “I Can’t Maintain Bullet to the Head Physique. Here are a few quotes… – Craig
“Looking as ripped as I do on the Bullet to the Head film poster is a temporary situation – you can’t maintain it… “
“I have all kinds of chest injuries; I tore my vein during Rocky II and had 60 stitches. If you’ve seen Rocky Balboa, you’ll know how bad they look… covered them with a tattoo of my wife. Then the tattoo started to grow and it went to a skull and before I knew it, I was a mural.”
