Thomas Boatwright’s Rocky & Adrian

Thomas Boatwright is back!

Thomas recently ran a watercolor sketch sale and I jumped on board for a couple.  Thomas came up with the idea of bookending the Rocky series.  Here is his take on Rocky.  I’ll be back next week with his riff on Rocky Balboa.

If you’d like to see more of Thomas Boatwright’s art check out his blog and his DA site. Send him some love.

If you get commissions, you should consider a piece from Thomas. He keeps you totally in the loop on his progress, finishes his commissions on or ahead of schedule, has very reasonable prices, is a fantastic artist and always gives you more than you’re expecting!   – Craig

Jerry Gaylord and Rambo

Jerry Gaylord aka The Franchize makes his fourth, but not his last appearance in my Stallone Sketch Gallery with his take on Sly as John Rambo.

I highly recommend Jerry to all sketch collectors. He quickly responds to e-mails, his turnaround time is quick and he packages the art to ensure it arrives safely.

Mike Torrance and the cast of Demolition Man!

Mike Torrance aka The Krayola Kidd is back and he’s brought Sly and the cast of Demolition Man with him!  Mike often surprises me with his commissions.  Sometimes it is an extra character, placing Sly in a role you wouldn’t expect or upgrading a sketch card to include the entire major players.

You can see more of Mike’s art at his Deviant Art siteMike is available for commissions and his prices are very reasonable.  I’m ready to order a new batch… perhaps he’ll have a Black Friday sale.  ; )

A “Thumbs Up” to Humiston’s Jack Carter

This is Erin Humiston’s first appearance in my Stallone Sketch Gallery.

I met Erin a couple of years ago at a MegaCon Convention.  I liked Erin’s animation style and thought it would be cool to see his take on a Sly character.

Erin did a sketch of Sly from Paradise Alley.  I actually thought I had shared it earlier, but in checking today see that I didn’t.  I’ll fix that and post it in a week or two.  In the mean time we have Erin’s take on Sly as Jack Carter.

You can see more of Erin’s art at his website and Facebook page.
