Thanks for sharing your drawing. I’ve bookmarked your site. I saw Rambo and loved it. I’ve just been so busy I haven’t had time to write up a review. – Craig

Dustin Hennick is a Superfan!

On January 23rd, Dustin Hennick sent in the photo above of a piece of art that he created in hope that he could get Sly to autograph it at the “Rambo” premiere.

As you can see from the above photo Sly did sign it as his daughter looked on.

Sly signing Dustin’s art was picked up by a couple of wire services!

Dustin sent in this close-up of Sly’s autograph! Congrats and thanks to Dustin for sharing this experience with us. Hopefully we’ll see more of Dustin’s art in the future. – Craig

Not to be Messed With

SZoner, Bill Pruitt checked in with… Hi Craig, Here’s my latest creation combining graphics in photoshop and a teaser of my latest oil painting which will be revealed soon. I wanted to convey in this ad that Rambo means business and that he will NOT be messed with.

…And Lookin’ the Way You Do.

Bill Pruitt sent in the photo of his latest Stallone painting above and this message:

Hi Craig,

Here is a new painting I just completed. It’s my first one from “First Blood”. I am very pleased with how it turned out. This is a pivotal scene in the movie. It’s exactly the moment that sets up the whole movie. He is making the decision right there to get in the car with Teasle. After that, of course, is pure classic Sly action. The title of this piece is “Wearing that flag on your jacket and lookin’ the way you do……”

Bill – not only is it another great painting, but you did hit the EXACT moment when you can see Rambo deciding he’s not going to be pushed again. Perfect! Thanks as always for sharing your talents with us! – Craig

Rivera’s Rambo

Paolo Rivera is a painter for Marvel Comics. Paolo recently attended a comic book convention where he was asked to sketch Rambo on a Death of Captain America cover. So what other fan is collecting Stallone Art? – Craig

Bill Pruitt Checks In

SZoner, Bill Pruitt checked in with the photo above and some words about it:

Hi Craig, Here is a photo of how my studio looked while working on my Rocky Balboa spiritual painting about a year and a half ago. You can see the pile of references I used on the left and another pile of references on the floor on right. At least 125 different photo references were used for extreme accuracy and to make it a very original image. – Bill
