Hey SZoners! Mark from Hollywood Collectibles wanted us to get a heads-up…
The Rambo statue is now up for pre-order;
http://hollywood-collectibles.com/rambo_18.html
If your guys use the code “Rambo” at checkout, they will get a 10% discount!
How cool is it that the Rambo statue is once again created by Edinho Maga who was discovered here at the StalloneZone?
Thanks to Mark and the good folks at Hollywood Collectibles for giving us another discount. Remember that the last Rambo statue sold out quickly. So put in your order, or drop some hints for a birthday, Father’s Day or even Christmas gift!
As always, any SZoner who orders one and sends me a photo with it, will have it posted on the StalloneZone!
From the Hollywood Collectibles website:
RAMBO IV 1:4 SCALE STATUE
“Heroes never die……..they just reload”
Standing an impressive 20” tall including base (to top of head – not including bow), this Quarter Scale statue captures Rambo’s raw intensity, as the “boatman” reveals his true colors to the mercenaries he is accompanying.
Featuring an accurate likeness of Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo from the latest Rambo movie, this amazingly detailed statue portrays Rambo with his now iconic bow in hand, poised to dispense instant justice with another arrow!
This incredible piece of art is constructed from heavyweight polystone and then hand painted to the finest detail.Limited to just 500 pieces worldwide
There is no HCG Exclusive version of this piece. However if you like low serial #’s, we are reserving # 1 to # 100 for retail customers only. So the first 100 retail orders will receive the desirable low edition numbers!
Sculpted by Edinho Maga.
Painted by Dan “Danno” Cope.

According to a May 1, 2010, post from Empire, Sly told one of their interviewers…
“… I think Rambo’s pretty well done. I don’t think there’ll be any more. I’m about 99% sure… I’m very happy with the last Burmese episode, because I didn’t pull any punches on it… I wanted it to be what civil war really is – rough. You can’t candy coat it, and where do you go from there?
The Empire article goes on to say that Sly is working on a director’s cut of Rambo! You can read the full piece here.
Of course once the news hit that Sly might not return to Rambo, other sites followed up…

Mark, from Hollywood Collectibles, contacted me last night with the following e-mail:
Hey Craig,
How are you? Well I hope!
Thought you might like to be the first to show this teaser pic of the painted Rambo 4 Quarter scale statue. Pretty cool huh!
Stands approx 20″ tall (with base) to the top of his head, ie. not including the extra height the bow adds.
Hope you like it, when we officially announce it we can do a discount for your guys as before.
Thanks,
Mark
Thanks for the sneak peak, Mark. My guess is that many SZoners will start saving now, because they’ll want to own one of the new Rambo statues. You guys at Hollywood Collectibles always put out great products and this piece will make a great addition to any Stallone fan’s collection. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

SZoner, Herve Attia sent me the following last night, just in time for this week’s update!
Dear Craig,
I had the opportunity to visit the Rambo ranch. I always asked myself how the ranch looks like from the inside. It has always been a mystery for the Rambo fans. Not anymore :).
I met Roger, the owner of the ranch. He had a lot to share about the 2 days filming Sly did back in may 2007.

Herve – Thanks for sharing your talents again! It was really neat to see “behind the scenes”, to hear Roger talk about filming and to see your movie magic!
