Best Stallone Films

SFGate.com posted their choices for the Best Stallone Films along with the films that readers picked. You can see the choices above or here.
Torrance, Tango & Cash

My buddy, Mike Torrance aka The Krayola Kidd is back. This time Mike brought a couple of friends with him. That’s Gabriel Cash on the left and Ray Tango on the right. Mike created the cards for me as reward for winning one of his free monthly sketch card contests. Love the movie, dig the art.
You can see more of Mike’s art at The Daily Sketch with The Krayola Kidd and his Deviant Art site. Mike is available for commissions and his prices are very reasonable. And don’t forget that once a month Mike has a contest for someone to win a free sketchcard!
Moreno Imagines “Tango & Cash 2”

Recently SZoner, Gerardo Moreno contacted us about Tango and Cash going to Blu-Ray. At the time there were rumors floating about that Sly and Kurt Russell were interested in doing a sequel. Although those are just rumors, Gerardo decided to put his talents to work and came up with his version of how the sequel movie poster could look.
Well done, Gerardo! To see more of his art, click here.
Tango & Cash Again?

SZoner, Gerardo Moreno wanted to make sure that we knew that Tango & Cash is now available on blu-ray.
The funny thing is that earlier this week rumors started appearing that Sly and Kurt Russell were interested in doing a Tango & Cash II. At this point, they are just rumors but the timing couldn’t have been better.
“Tango & Cash”

On September 17, 2009, The Faster Times, in their DVD review section, posted a very positive review for “Tango & Cash”. Not only can you read it here, you can also see the original trailer!
Gene Gonzales’ Ray Tango

Gene Gonzales did this quick sketch of Sly as Ray Tango from “Tango and Cash” as a bonus for buying his new sketchbook. He offers this deal to anyone picking up a copy, so check out Gene’s art and if you like what you see put in your order. You won’t be disappointed.
SZ Exclusive: Stallone Behind the Scenes Pics
SZoner, “Joe Tanto Hummer” sent in a bunch of pictures that he had taken, over the years, of his visits to Stallone movie premieres, Planet Hollywood openings, and the like. Unfortunately most of the pictures were taken without a flash at night or had glare or something that prevented them from being used. We did want to share these EXCLUSIVE pics from Joe.

This is a cool candid that Tanto picked up of Sly and one of his paintings.

Here’s a shot of Sly and Jen at a 1995 Planet Hollywood opening.

Tanto wanted to be sure that we all got to see this building-sized poster for Tango and Cash!
Thanks to Joe for sharing! – Craig Zablo [September 28, 2002]
