On May 19, 2011, Showbiz Spy posted speculation that Arnold may drop out of The Expendables 2 due to recent revelations that he fathered a child out of wedlock. Since the announcement Arnold has put all movies on hold in an effort to deal with the personal issues that have surfaced.
On May 17, 2011, Film School Rejects posted Neil Miller’s piece titled, ‘Zookeeper’ Trailer Has Talking Animals, Kevin James and a Lack of Shame. It seems that Mr. Miller thinks that Zookeeper is going to be a big hit but he’s not going to like it.
I guess that’s why they build multiplexes, Mr. Miller.
On May 15, 2011, The Huffington Post picked up on the story of Sly and Arnold having lunch together and ran it with a stock photo of them at a Planet Hollywood.
Jim is a political cartoonist, author, publisher, teacher, owner/curator of one of the first galleries featuring cartoon art in the world [The Cartoon Museum], World War II vet and self-professed mellow curmudgeon. I’ve always loved the simplicity of Jim’s art.
The piece above is one of a series of three that Jim did for me a couple of years ago [at the tender age of 83]. Jim’s goal was to capture Sly as well as spell out S – L – Y in as few lines as possible. I think he succeeded.
Earlier today, DailyMail.co.uk posted. “Sylvester Stallone Takes Arnold Schwarzenegger to Lunch” along with these two photos and more. It’s nice to see Frank Stallone [in the picture below] was able to join Sly & Arnold for lunch.

Reports have surfaced that Sly wants to make sure he’s in top form, physically, when he starts filming on The Expendables 2.

FirstShowing scored a, uh, first look at The Expendables 2 teaser poster. Several sites picked up on the image as well as the synopsis that Nu Image posted the storyline for the sequel. I just received a call from Sly’s office. Sly wanted fans to know that the posted synopsis is not correct. The real storyline will be forthcoming, but Sly wanted SZoners to know the truth first! – Craig
