Sly, Arnold and Bruce in “Westworld”!?

On October 3rd, Ain’t It Cool News‘ Moriarty ran an item from the UK’s Hotdog magazine:

“Rumblings are beginning to emerge about the forthcoming remake of WESTWORLD, which the Austrian Oak himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is reportedly using as a vehicle to unite him with his Planet Hollywood mates, Messrs Willis and Stallone, for the first time on screen. After Sly bites the dust early on, effectively reducing him to cameo status, Bruce has to run like **** from the pissed-off robot gunslinger in black,and although he may have flesh falling off him to reveal his metal skeleton, any sense of deja vu pointing towards the Terminator franchise is purely coincidental. New areas covered by the pursuit include Aquaworld, Lunarworld and Jurassic World, and in an early draft of the script, the actual holiday centre is located on the Moon.”

SZ Exclusive: Stallone Behind the Scenes Pics

SZoner, “Joe Tanto Hummer” sent in a bunch of pictures that he had taken, over the years, of his visits to Stallone movie premieres, Planet Hollywood openings, and the like. Unfortunately most of the pictures were taken without a flash at night or had glare or something that prevented them from being used. We did want to share these EXCLUSIVE pics from Joe.

This is a cool candid that Tanto picked up of Sly and one of his paintings.

Here’s a shot of Sly and Jen at a 1995 Planet Hollywood opening.

Tanto wanted to be sure that we all got to see this building-sized poster for Tango and Cash!

Sly Promotes “Avenging Angelo” & Teases “Rambo 4”

While teasing his new movie, AVENGING ANGELO, at a French film festival, Sylvester Stallone let it be known he thinks it’s time for a RAMBO 4.

“We’re talking about doing another Rambo because I think it’s time to combine action with politics,” Stallone said. Just what he means by “it’s time” is not exactly clear, but RAMBO 3 dealt with the then current hot subject of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

It’s not known what success Stallone would have in such a venture. A few years ago, he made similar noises about bringing back the ROCKY series with a sixth film, but interest from studios was lacking.

Stallone has been hit by a series of misfired comeback attempts, and it’s been 14 year since the last RAMBO film. Stallone’s most recent comeback attempt, D-TOX, was not even released in theaters. It is coming out later this year on video.

Interesting news… and it looks as if “D-Tox” will get at least a limited release.
