Lance Sawyer is back, this time with his take on Sly as Freddy from Cop Land. I saw Lance was taking on some sketch and sketch card commissions, so I jumped on board.

Here’s the photo that fans have been waiting to see. Arnold, Sly and Bruce laying down some cover fire from Expendables 2. Although the photo is starting to show up around the net, I first saw it in Entertainment Weekly’s Summer Preview issue set to hit new stands this week.

The La Salle University Art Museum is currently running an exhibit of 150 Andy Warhol photos. One of the photos, is of Sylvester Stallone taken in 1980. On display next to the picture is a “journal excerpt from Warhol and you read candid thoughts he had for the actor.” If any SZoner gets to see the exhibit, please let us know what the journal entry says. – Craig

The photo above of Sly, Paula Abdul and Robert Earl [founder of the Planet Hollywood chain] was taken on April 24, 2010, but ran with Robin Leach’s April 4, 2012 piece in the Las Vegas Sun about the Las Vagas Planet Hollywood moving to a new location.

The big news this week is the announcement that Vincent D’Onofrio, Vinnie Jones, Amy Ryan and 50 Cent will enter “The Tomb” with Jim Caviezel, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sly Stallone.

Today we have Sly as Judge Dredd by Shawn Surface. Shawn is an all-around nice guy and his art should be getting more attention.
