On 12.28.12, the JDJournal posted Stallone Wins “The Expendables” Lawsuit. From the opening paragraph:
U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff in Manhattan reaffirmed his dismissal of a lawsuit accusing Sylvester Stallone of plagiarizing the screenplay of one Marcus Webb, to create the 2010 movie, “The Expendables.” The federal court rejected Webb’s claims of “The Expendables” having “striking similarities” to his “The Cordoba Caper.”

Doug Dabbs is Expendable
Doug Dabbs is back! I first met Doug in 2011 at Heroes Con. I was heading out from the show and saw his art. If there had been time, I’d have got a sketch on the spot.
I told Doug I would get a piece from him in 2012 and I did. Two in fact. This piece is Doug’s riff on Barney Ross from The Expendables. Since it is one of my favorite sketches from 2012, I thought it would be fitting to go out with a bang! – Craig
